A thought about metal ce2 in standard boge tank.

I make my own carto tanks for boge cartos out of polycarbonate tubing and vinyl grommets. I was thinking about making a cut off ce2 tank and found myself wondering if simply putting 6 - 8 holes up the side of the metal tube would work rather than cutting the tube?

Just 2 holes will work. Make one just above the pressed-in metal connector and the other just below the ceramic cup. Measure carefully. If you have an old clearomizer CE2, you can gauge your cuts with that. The liquid needs to be able to flow like a straw, for example. Once it has an entrance and exit, you're good to go.
