Where to Buy Just the Switch for a Mech Mod?

Hey,

I hope this is the right place for this!

i recently took my Panzer outta my pocket after walking with it for 20 minutes. It took a moment to realize that the whole switch had become disassembled and the brass button itself - the piece with the gas mask on it - was just straight up not in my pocket or anywhere.

this sucks for two reasons: I need a new button, but can't seem to find anywhere that sells just the button, let alone even just the switch. It seems like I'd have to buy a new mod or clone to get the replacement. Second, one of the two magnets I bought for the switch upgrade is provably still clinging to the button, wherever it is, meaning I've got to buy a whole new set :/

ive come to peace over the magnet, but it doesn't seem right that I shouldn't be able to buy a singular Panzer switch any where. Does any one have any suggestions?

thank you in advance!!

You can get clone, my Private was actually 1:1 with HCigar clone....but right now, the clone price for Panzer in states is 60 and Fasttech is around 31 shipped...you can probably go their forums and ask them if it's 1:1

Sorry about your lost...you can try their Facebook page also and contact them directly to see if they will drop you one..I know a while back RJ Mods was doing this for their Turtleship v1 customers..

I got confirmation from the Fasttech forum that it is not 1:1; MCV replied to me asking for a picture of the unit, which I supplied in response; however, I don't think obtaining a switch (or even the brass button alone) from them would be of any use, now.

I'm really thinking that my only option, now, is to buy a whole new a Panzer... Unless some sainted individual out there can provide a better alternative. I'm just devastated :( :(

Thanks to every one who has helped me so far with the question, though. Can't thank you all enough...

Thought some would get a kick out of this... Received my Panzer switch back from Fat Daddy aka Dennis! He soldered a new Captain America penny to a blank Sentinel switch, then sanded it down to recreate the perfect custom Panzer switch.

My infinite love to Dennis; works like an absolute charm!!

Holy crap that looks nice! I like that better than my sikastits switch. How much did he charge for that?

I haven't received a quote yet, my internet was prematurely cut off on the 2nd of June and I only got back to him with my satisfaction yesterday (it arrived on the 2nd, too)! I feel badly about that, but it was an honest roadblock. Per his request, I sent him some local sweets ($15 in exitic flavored dark chocolate) to eat while he worked; perhaps that's the cost LOL ;)

Vaya, just for future reference - I'm not taking a dig at mods from the Philippines, as I own a few myself that I love, but most Pinoy modders have infamously bad customer service, as far as being unavailable, not offering spares, etc. Many people that end up with a messed up Pinoy mod end up out of luck unless you can find an aftermarket part that fits.

Glad fatdaddy helped you out though :)

This has been my experience, too; MCV was completely unhelpful when contacted via Facebook!
