Where to buy mesh?

Anyone know of a good place to buy mesh? Im looking for the 500 mesh. Will be used in an AGA-T2 if that matters. The only place I heard of on here was a place called The Mesh Company I believe but they are in Canada. Not that it would take forever to get here as I live in Wisconsin but would like to buy from in the states.

Anyway if a few of you could share where you get your mesh that would be appreciated very much. The few I found want like 4-5 bucks for a tiny piece. Seeing this will be my first attempt at building a mesh wick was hoping I could get a sheet or something at a decent price so I could experiment and screw it up a few times.

once you get past the tinkering stage and become proficient its amazing how long a 12X12 inch sheet will last. some of my wicks are in the 6-8 week range before i rebuild them, if not longer with regular cleanings.

I just bought my 1st RBA, I ordered mesh from ebay, comes with free Kanthal too - Stainless Steel Mesh 500 400 350 325 300 and 200 w Free Bonus A1 Kanthal Wire | eBay

Don't know if that is a good price, as never bought before, but wasn't expensive and seemed a good deal with the kanthal thrown in too

How do you clean the mesh? Just wash it?

in the case of a genesis atomizer i empty the tank with a syringe then i do a quick dry burn to fry the crud off the coil, then i take a syringe, hold the atty upside down and squirt water into the fillhole a few times forcing it through the wick and coil. then do a couple of empty syringes full of air to push excess water out.

fill and go, for the first 5-10 puffs it needs to get rid of the extra water and force juice to wick again but after that it starts vaping like new again. it is usually after the coil has a problem or the wick looks rough do i rewick them. in most cases the coils fail before the wick.
