Where to buy Screwdriver MKII body only?

Hi

My SD MKII has just packed in. The vapour petered out mid-vape and after trying a new atty, swapping the battery, cleaning the connections and checking the little spring hadn't shorted, the only thing left is the base.

Anyone know where I could get just the chunky silver love-egg on its own? I've no need to get a full kit (I'm coming down with batteries and atomisers), but I can't find the base unit for sale separately anywhere, or even any other device bar the TECC pipe that uses the same battery.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks!

I think TECC and TW used to stock the individual SD parts, but (as you've probably discovered yourself) they don't appear to have the bodies at the moment. It also looks like cavecom.com only have MKIIs as full kits.

It might be worth reposting this on UKVapers when the site's back up. Trog (Mr. Screwdriver) hangs out on there and he might be able to diagnose your problem and suggest a fix.

Thanks for the info Fumanchu, I remember reading something about Trog a while ago, didn't realise he made/designed the Screwdriver. If anyone knows I suppose he will.

Not sure if I'm allowed to do this, (so apologies in advance to the ECF moderators & I'll fully understand if you delete this post) but there is a Screwdriver MK11 kit available at a good price on AAE-C. I know you don't want the full kit, so may be worth asking if Storm will sell you the body on it's own -

Nice one Chrissie, I might just do that. Trog got back to me and offered to look at the main body (doesn't it look like a love egg?), so fingers crossed he can work his magic. If all else fails though, I know where to look.

Can't wait to get the SD on the go again, had a few cigarettes since it stopped working and they were awful. Going from Watermelon Bubblegum e-liquid to a real cigarette, it's just no good.

Hope Trog can sort it out for you Nat I bought one of the very first SD MK1's Haven't used it for a couple of years though as I prefer my GGTS
