I generally buy my stuff from a local store, but I have gotten things online--from fasttech. The first few times it seemed to be alright, but something seems to be going downhill. I've tried to buy juice once and many days later I got an email saying it was discontinued. I tried to order replacement coils for one of my tanks recently, and got the same thing, an email saying they were discontinued many days later. Why does it take so long to tell me it's discontinued? I mean over a week here. So I tried to order some batteries instead, and again, many days later I get an email about some shipping problems or some nonsense.

FT is good for selection and prices, but too many odd things have been happening lately. I'm wondering if there's another site, preferably based in the US, that can compare to FT's selection. I know I'm most likely not going to get the same prices as I can at FT, though...

This is PERFECTLY normal.

You have a LOT of idiot ruled in the US, Canada, Australia, Asia, the Middleton East, etc and people are stockpiling for the vapacolypse.

Its only to be expected for Fasttech and other places to sell out. If there is any delay in obtaining gear to replace the gear that is FLYING out the door of course there will be issues.

This is another great point! People are ordering 5-10 items now, vs. the 1-2 they would have normally ordered. Everything vape related is going to be a PITA for the next few months.
Good call @Two_Bears, I keep trying to put that out of my mind!

Well if they're sold out I have no issue with that, at least say you're sold out from the get go instead of telling me 2 weeks later.

But the problem with the batteries isn't that they're sold out, it's that they apparently can't even ship them to me.

Anyways, is there a comparable US based site? FT seems to have everything... Mods, batteries, e-Go batteries, all kinds of tanks and coils... Many of the sites I've tried to find on my own seem to have only limited selection or be specialized... Like elevatedvapes seems to only carry mod gear.

I was also going to suggest angelcigs. They don't have the greatest selection, and their shipping is slower than dirt! If it says ships in 1-3 days, add a week to that! But great prices, and the things do show up!

I just ordered the cerabis ceramic subohm tank from them (Angelcigs). Took them 1 business days to ship. I think they're based in China as well since the shipping origin is from China...or they could have multiple locations one in China one in the states.

Regardless, transaction went smoothly.

I bought about 15 Kayfun Monster Mini V3 bases with bell caps for myself and Friends. With three Fountain v2 attys, and a Wismec Theorem atty for me.

The Lithium Ion battery issue. You can thsnk the Hover board and FAKE Li-On batteries.

After batteries started bursting into flames. The USPS NO longer allows Shopping Li-On batteries through the US Mail.

Glad to hear that! They have on US based warehouse in LA and the other is based in China. My reasoning for my earlier post, I made one order and waited, and waited, then made another order. It had been two weeks on the first order, the other was four days. Both packages showed up in my mailbox the same day? So it can be hit and miss! Granted the first order I just did as a customer, the second I registered, maybe that makes the difference?

reminds me of efun. took them 2 weeks to ship something that was in stock, now its on the way along with the avocado which they just received today.

I will say however, Efun is quick to respond with their emails. So I guess another vendor added to the list that ships to China.

So there's apparently no way to ship them then?
From the Fast Tech shipping FAQ:
USPS Expedited for Battery Products
typically 8 to 11 business days
FREE for orders $20 or more
otherwise around $1 or less to upgrade
Note: this service does not ship to APO/FPO addresses. United States (USA) lower 48 states only
Cylindrical batteries - OK
Built in batteries - OK
E-liquids - Prohibited
Knives - Prohibited

You have to take the rough with the smooth.

I ordered some Zombie Apocalypse stuff last week (spare glass tanks, wire, Kayfun screws, subtank topfill conversion kits) and I checked to see how it was going. It was all ready to ship apart from ONE product.

So, I cancelled the one product (restocking?) and it was posted 16 hours later.

They don't always know when they'll be let down. They might say "ships in 3 days" and then hear from the factory that something is discontinued or it's another 3 days. It happens.
