Where to get a 3.7v battery e-cig delivered to UK?

At the moment, the only 3.7 volt battery e-cig available in the UK seems to the SD.

I tried the new SD MKII but unfortunately it was too bulky for my tiny hands which are also a bit weak due to my MS so it felt too heavy too. I also found the switch being on the end of the SD too awkward for me. So I sold it

E-Cigs.co.uk is out of stock of the Protege and there are delays with getting them in stock (which I gather could go on for some time), although I've heard the Protege might be heavier than the SD despite being slimmer?

As most of the bigger battery models are bulky or heavy, it doesn't leave much choice for me to try one that's slim enough and maybe a touch lighter than the SD. The only ones I can think of that might be suitable are the VP1 (have to admit I like the look and size of this one!), and the Vapre51 (similar to the VP1 and I think made by the same people who make the VP1), and the Bulli Slim (not sure about that one as it's aluminium?). I'd like one to use with a 901 atty and possibly also with an adaptor for an 801.

SmokeJuice has the Bulli Slim on his site but it's been out of stock for ages. The suppliers who sell the others are in the US and either don't ship to the UK or they don't say if they do or not.

Are there any other UK suppliers who might have suitable models? Where or how do any of you who get these bigger battery models get them if the supplier doesn't ship outside of the US? What about problems, guarantees, spares etc?

Are there any other models that might perhaps suit me?

You may find a useful box mod or a torch mod from Garry Dibley easier to use. They are astoundingly cheap and reliable.
The box mod 801 version I have is very light to handle, using 3.7v 10440 (cigar type) battery.

Have you thought about the JantyStick? Its small and light but has good battery life. Otherwise the smaller version of the new Mako might suit, though the switch is on the end meaning it might be a pain for you.

The Bulli Slim shipment has been in transit since the end of October and we still haven't received it to date.... I think the shipment has been held up due to the postal strikes.

We are expecting them any day soon though....

To be honest, I'm not sure a square box mod would suit me either... Whereas my hands are quite that bad, but if I'm going to be holding something in my hands or fingers for any length of time, it has to be of a certain shape (and weight) for me to feel comfy with it. Sounds daft I know, but there we go...

The Janty BB might be one to watch out for, whenever it comes out. I'm not sure what weight it has though.

I'll keep looking out for the Bulli Slim in the meantime! Thanks for letting me know . I just hope they don't all sell out before I get to it, LOL.

LF have coppers in Mods - The Copper and the adaptever on its way (looking at the forum). Not sure if the copper would be too heavy, I would have thought a lightweight box mod would have been good? Bit surprised the SD II is too heavy, thought they were a pretty good size and weight? You might struggle?

I would agree with frogbmth's suggestion of the Janty Stick, as the weight of an ecig is 90% down to the battery it uses. The stick uses an 10440 battery ( think I got that right, memory is bad these days.) and as that is small, and the stick itself is is the width of 2 801 atties side by side, and the depth of one (just over) its quite small in the hand. Switch is half way up, and doesnt require much pressure to use.

I can certainly lend you mine as you are UK to try and see if it fits the bill.

I agree, but if your not too sure about a box mod try one of Garrys, they are very cheap and well made and come with a good guarantee... The JS is very good but it's tricky putting in the atomiser.....

Good Point Moog... Im lucky my atties are lasting for ages, so I forgot about that. Good dexterity is needed for grip of those atties when they have to be changed.

I had a look at Garry's site, those mods are increDibley cheap..... He should use that as a brand name...lol,

Did he ever sell the Nexus he produced? that was a real head turner... gorgeous !

Yes, I'm afraid struggle with certain things as I have MS (Multiple Sclerosis). With the SD, it may be that it was the combination of it being "fat" together with the weight of the battery which made it awkward for me. Also, I found it tricky for using the button on the end... I'm sad about not being able to use the SD as I know it's a reliable good solid item, but there we go, such are my limitations

Methinks you're right, Prof! I haven't been able to find much info or comments on it but, size-wise, it looks like it might be what might suit me best. As perhaps does the VP1 but doesn't seem like we can get it here. Shame the UK has a more limited choice than the US

I did wonder about trying one of Gary's box mods as the price is extraordinary! But I'm still not sure if I could manage a square box shaped one, so I'm a bit hesitant.

Ah... re the JS... Thanks for the tip about the tricky atomiser. Maybe I might be best not to try it if I might end up having problems with attaching the atomiser.

It is quite tricky but I've had mine in there since August, three months ago, and I'm using the same one. So if you've got a friend to help you the first time and when it eventually goes it might not be an issue.

I keep forgetting to say... I use both 901 and 801 atties. But I use a whole bunch of them daily as I use one atty for each flavour and nic strength, of which I have tons and in 2 different rooms so's I don't have to keep carrying them all around with me. That means it has to be a model where it's easy to frequently change the atty and which isn't wrecked by changing atties too often (mind you, I'm very gentle with them).

I have small hands and feet although I'm 5'6 and not short as such. I take a size 3 to 3.5 (35.5 continental) shoe which I can never find as shops either don't stock them or only have one pair which someone else bought before I got there, I need the smallest size gloves, and I always have to have all watch straps made quite a bit smaller to fit my almost child-size wrists.

So between my hand size and my slight weakness and occasional hand tremors (which makes trying cart mods like the straw methods damn near impossible for me as they're so fiddly to do), I think I'd be better and more comfy with a slim cylindrical mod with a side button or, if it has an end button, then with a short body as my fingers won't reach it otherwise.

Given the limited availability of mods in the EU (and then only when they're available or not sold out), I'm beginning to narrow it down to the Bulli Slim, possibly the Janty Baby J whenever it comes out, and possibly the smallest Mako when it comes out, and maybe one of Gary's mods. The Protégé is slim enough but apparently it's slightly heavier than the SD. Moog, thanks, I will get in contact with Gary . Have I missed or forgotten anything?

Oooh and when it comes out, I'll definitely be wanting to try Janty's Telsa cart filler, if they get it to production which sounds like they might in the new year. Anything not to have to keep fiddling and faffing about with cart fillers just to get a decent amount of liquid out of them for any length of time! I've tried the cartomiser, but am not too sure yet if I like it or not, seems it needs a longer draw than I can manage (and it whistles horribly, LOL), plus it would need adapters for the 901 and 801 and whatever other batteries - mind you, that too is fiddly to refill. Anyway, carts aren't my concern in this topic
