i hear about cartomizers...from what i can gather they are cartridges and atomizers put together and allow you to put a certain amount in there so you dont have to drop 4 drips in at a time or something like that?? is that right...what is the real difference in having a cartomizer and a atomizer...personal preference it looks like...some say you get more flavor with one or the other...im just wondering if i should order some blank cartomizers...if i use a cartomizer, does that take the place of the atomizer and the cartridge? and can i use the drip tip i bought on both the cartomizer and atomizer? and another thing..this kit i ordered comes with basically 2 full working e-cigs? 2 batt's, an atomizer and then a LR atomizer...instead of being backups, couldnt they just be considered 2 seperate cigs? i ask this cuz i will give one to my mom if thats the case...i only smoke a pack a day right now, so im sure i wont need to take another battery with me anywhere as i have read that the eGO/riva have good battery life. sorry for the long post, but just need this cleared up for me. thanks!

Yes, cartomizers are cartridges and atomizers built into one unit. When using an atomizer, you have two options. Use a cartridge or use a drip tip. The cartridge will hold about 0.8ml of liquid. You'll have to refill them when they run dry. With a drip tip, you'll drip a few drops at a time and vape until you need to add more. The benefit of dripping is that you get rid of the filler in cartridges and the taste is better. You can put a drip tip in a cartomizer, but the only function is serves at that point is as a more comfortable mouth piece.

In regards to your kit having two full e-cigs, you are correct. However, before you decide to go and give the second one away, consider what happens when your battery dies and you're waiting for it to recharge. No vaping. Riva batteries will last around 8-10 hours with moderate to heavy vaping. Also, attys do have to be replaced. How frequently depends on a number of factors, such as how dry you let it get, how much particulate is in your juice (darker juices will clog attys faster than clear juices).
