In the fall, I cleaned behind my refrigerator of the first time in eons. It was clean except for a lot of dust. So today I suddenly decided that I had to clean back there and see what damage the visitors had done. (The answer to that, btw, is very little.) My fridge is in a little alcove at the entrance to the kitchen. So I got my broom and mop ready and wiggled the fridge straight forward. When I had nowhere to back up, I went to one side and finished shoving it all the way forward. It just clears the wall at that point and I shoved it sideways the 10" or so that the cord will allow. And there I was in the kitchen with a refrigerator between me and the mop and broom.

I have done things like that before Glad they didn't do much damage

My all time favorite was one from David Brenner. He said that when he was in school, the teachers would always chastise him with the phrase "what are you a comedian?"
