Goodnight Stosh, and thanks for coming by. I'm sorry jag.![]()
A long time ago, all's well. Thank you, jj.
And hi and bye Stosh!!![]()
Oh, it's all right. These were slightly older friends and it happened 9 years ago. It did change my outlook a lot though. That's when I went for "voluntary simplicity", cut things back and tried to relax and get by with little, when I sold everything and 'retired' to Hawaii. But I'm back on the mainland now.
Don't mean to darken the mood here. There's a happy ending!![]()
Hadn't expected the thread to explode. Nice to see a good cadence going in here tonight. But Ralph, it's January in Illinois!!!
not more Betty Boop please or i am going to report your post as offensive to Liscab ......................![]()

It's the untaping part that really sucked!

Thundersnow would be more appropriate. First time I ever saw that was at Chanute AFB when I was at jet school.
Come on now Lis. I know you miss taping things up.It's the untaping part that really sucked!

Hi Jan.
So many people have picked up on Lis's version of my screen name that I actually pronounce it "Poe" sometimes.
Aww. And I've been using her name so long that if someone said "Poeia" on the street, I'd probably turn around. But I was referring to the pronunciation. When I see "Poe" I pronounce it the way Edgar Allen pronounced his last name. Onomatopoeia, on the other hand, pronounces her name (or would if she'd bother to learn to say it) "Pia."...........
I fell off....
dang...
well night all !![]()
I didn't know you ever lived in Illinois. Grew up in LeRoy which is a hope skip and jump from Chanute. Been there many times. Many people weren't happy when it closed.
Night
It's alllllllll cool, right Ralph?
Good night, jj.![]()
