I received my Joye 510 kit six days ago. So far I'm disappointed with the performance. I've read that it produces good vapor and good hit. So far for me neither have been the case. Atomizer seems to overheat and I get poor vapor production. I've tried drawing slow and less that five seconds which at times is a little better, but not consistently better. I did try a disposable e cig before I ordered the 510 and it had better vapor and a better hit. I just wanted to give my experience in the hope that others may benefit.

Is the battery freshly charged?
Does it have enough liquid in it?
Did you get any extra atomizers with it, or juice separate or did you just get cartridges?
Maybe your carts are dry or you might have gotten a bad atomizer.
Try some dry burns with it and then drip a little liquid right on the atomizer.
Ive had this problem with new atomizers, and sometimes a dry burn then drip will bring them around.
Or its always possible that you got a faulty battery or atomizer from the factory.

The amount of vapor can vary with the liguid that is being used. If you haven't dripped anything into the atomizer yet, try a couple of drops directly into it, and top off your cartridge. If your atty is getting that hot, it would be turning any available juice into vapor. You don't want it to get too hot, because then you could start burning the fibers down in the atty....not tasty....or burn it out completely.
I received 2 batteries and 2 atomizers. Have not tried the second battery but have tried the other atomizer, with the same result. The carts came with the unit but appear to be fairly well saturated with juice. I have ordered some juice and will try dripping some on the atomizer when it arrives. The batteries are manual and the one that I've used appears to heat the atomizer very well. If I draw real slow and easy for about five seconds I can get a decent hit, but not consistently and have to let the atomizer chamber cool completely before taking another draw. My first suspicion was that the carts were not saturated very well, but when I checked closely that does not appear to be the case. It looks like my best hope at this point is that the juice I've ordered makes a difference. I really had high expectations for the 510 and hope the new juice makes the difference. I appreciate the observations and suggestions you have given.
Hi Ruhane I just started monday/tuesday and had the same problem with the carts that came with the 510 . I took one of my prefilled carts and washed the filling and added some of the marl juice I order with the kit and have had nothing but good vapor since. I do top of the prefilled with my juice before using them out of the box now and it works fine for me. Hope this helps

I ordered my juice from e-smokeytreats.com and the vapor is amazing. I noticed it varies a bit but I was getting pretty consistant vapor as long as I dripped a couple drops in every 15-20 drags or so. Also, the battery is kinda short lived, but I always have one charging. Lol I say always and I haven't been vaping for 24 hours yet
I haven't had a regular cigarette since 5pm last night though I woke up craving a cig, dripped a few drops in my cart, screwed on the battery that was charging all night, and man it is satisfying.

Thanks for the input, seems like this may a problem with the carts that came with the kit. I'm looking forward to trying it when I receive the juice that I've ordered.
I also was disappointed with the 510. There are some tricks to make it better, but I found it too much work. Dripping on the atty, topping off the cart, fresh battery are all good tips. Also, the 510 attys come with primer on them and you may find that after you puff on them a while they start getting better for you. It still wasn't enough for me and I switched to the VaporKing from Vapor4Life. I have never looked back, this baby is it for me. No muss, no fuss and you can even refill the cartomizers if you wish - very simple to do. But I found that with the VK I didn't have to fuss with blowing out the atty or dripping and dropping all day just to get a decent hit. I hope you can figure out how to make the 510 for you, and if not, keep looking for what you need - you don't want to get back on the cigs!
Another tip is try taking a primer puff, then a long, slow draw on the 510. I found that worked best for me! Good luck and keep vaping!

Try the other battery. You did charge the battery, right?
You need juice too. Suggest getting some ecopure but at this point any juice will do. Cart juice can vary widely. There's a reason why an overwhelming majority of the people with 510's report big vapor. Sometimes a few drops on a new atty helps.
I've had similar experiences with my 510 which I just received last week. I have to top off the carts (blanks that I filled) frequently and right after that it works great but doesn't seem to last very long. My carts have plenty of juice but they don't seem to wick properly. I will start to taste the burn of yuckness and when I check the cart it still has plenty of juice. I don't mind messing with it when I'm at home but I am looking for something easier to deal with when I am driving or at work so I ordered the VaporKing based on the reviews here.
I sincerely doubt you will regret it and instead of Just saying Huh... you will be just saying WOW!

I want to post an update about my 510 problem. On Monday I received the juice that I ordered. I topped off the cart that I had been using and put two drops on the atomizer. That made all the difference in the world. It now produces great vapor and a good hit consistently. I will continue to keep the cart topped off and put a couple of drops of juice on the atomizer when the vapor production gets low. The 510 is now living up to my expectations and I thank everyone that posted advise on how to remedy my problem.

definitely had to add juice to the cart when I got my 510 yesterday to get consistent good hits. fiddled with the stuffing got it real juicy. I blow in a bit before puffing , shake it a bit.
It's always producing good vapor now the second day I think the atty must of broke in and the stuffing got soaked good or something cause I don't have to top it off as much, still going to do the PTB mod ASAP.
