I would like to protect the threads & address the airy draw with a Protank on a Vamo. I have already tried a 510 to 510 adapter but nothing fires. I must have ordered the wrong thing. Is it true that the right air flow controller will kill 2 birds with one stone?
Does anybody know which air flow controller or adapter that works on their Vamo. & exactly where does somebody get one? Links would be great. I do not want to waste any more $$ trying to find the right part.

The protanks airy draw is driving me nuts so I guess a air flow controller would be my best bet as it should serve to protect the threads no matter what I put on it. I have used the Evod heads & it seems like it might help a little. It's still too airy for me. The good news is that I rarely get a dry hit. It does leak a bit.

Any help is truly appreciated.

My Vamo is new but now I know about the airy draw with a protank.
Surely somebody has been able to figure this out & knows exactly what to get.

I'm a relative noob so that's my excuse, Ha.

Thanks a lot.

I use a Protank on my Vamo with no problem. The Protank is airy. The EVOD head should be better. It has a tighter draw. Don't know of a airflow adjustment that will work because of the groves in the bottom of the Protank. Let us know if you find one that works. You can't beat the EVOD and Protank types for good juice flow. I can live with the airy thing better than the dry hits and burnt taste of Clearo types. LOL

Thanks for info. Very true about the Evods & Protank being great for no dry hits at all. Sure beats all the other clearos I tried. Yuk.
I had found a thread that talked about air flow controller that helps the draw even more + protects the Vamo threads, all in one type device. Of course after exhaustive searching I can't find that same thread. I believe it had a link to the controller that works. Should have ordered it then, I suppose.

I would be one happy camper if I could be a happy as possible with the Protank. I even find the draw on a Evod to be on the airy side, but I use those. I hear the weak link on the vamo is the threads so I'd like to avoid that.

Any ideas, keep em coming & hopefully someone that posted or saw the thread will know what/where to get.
I'm the big dummy for not remembering what place had those controllers. So that's why I'm now kicking myself.

MadVapes carries an airflow controller, and it works efficiently to tighten the draw. Your 510 to 510 adapter needs to be sealed, unsealed is for bottom feeders like the Reo.

Need to bump this as it thread got moved. I don't know why because it's about air flow controllers.

Do you own this one & use it on a Vamo?

Thanks

I used this one and it does tighten a lot the draw to the point of chocking the ProTank.
