Now.. BLU...
Blu are a tobacco company. They are supporting the TPD,
Tobacco Products Directive 2014/40/EU.
This is a European Parliament law that regulates e-cigarettes. In 2016, there are currently
no e-cigarettes that will pass the regulations, ALL e-cigarettes will be potentially banned, unless some are available as non-medicine products, in which case only liquid under 20mg and tanks under 2ml will be legal.
Blu use readily available components for their e-cigs (made in China). This means whether it is good or bad, you can buy all these parts.
Their tanks £4.99. Bought elsewhere £1.39 from China or £3.49 UK.
Their batteries £9.99. Bought elsewhere £2.85 from China or £6.99 UK.
Liquid £4.99 UK - £1.50.
Anyway, enough on price. They are throwing all other makes of e-cigs off the shelves (Morrisons, Co-op, Corner shops, Petrol stations) so that in 2016, only their products will be on sale, and non-refillable too. This turns vaping from £2 per day into £2,500 per year.
Lastly, they awarded themselves "Product of the year 2015".. based on customer research of normal, everyday shoppers, not experienced e-cig users.
Blu are deliberately going crazy on social media. They are throwing money and time at taking over the e-cig market. It's about being in pole position so next year, they are the only company left standing. They do not want to be selling refillables... they want to make up the money from people who are not buying cigarettes.
So, that's Blu. Tell your friends. PLEASE.
