Which brand protected 10440?

I have a Precise and I was wondering which brand battery to get. The red AW's or the gray Trustfire's. I have read that the mah on the Trustfires are overrated and the AW's are underrated, is that true? I am sure they are both excellent battery's but I would like someone to comment that has had both.

The Aw's are too short. The grey ultrafires are the ticket, however, order a few extra, the ones i have, about one in three the protection circuit is shrinkwraped on so crooked they won't go in. I heard battery Junction is back open, maybe there's are a bit bettery quality control then the Deal Extremes.

Hey David this may be asking alot but I was wondering if I sent my Precise in to you can you adjust the 510 cap by adding a longer center post to allow those new AW 10440 batteries. Can this even be done? I am not having luck with these protected batteries. I dont think I'm getting a full charge or something.

Got mine at battery junction, only one out of 8 had a problem with fit.

Guess I must have been the lucky one, with DE. I have been rotating 6 of the gray Trustfire TR10440s through another mod for about 6 months and all still work great.

No problems with the fit in the Precise, with any of the 6.

All still come off the Trustfire TR-001 charger between 4.15 and 4.19v and hold up as well as can be expected for a battery of this size. (Hard to believe they have the guts to call them 600 mAh but they do OK.)

I have a multi battery trustfire charger... but I think I'm getting good batteries but the protection cercuit must be bad or something. I dont know whats going on lol.... I love this precise the size and weight.... and the looks show an unbelievable craftsmenship.

I ordered my grey Trustfires from DE. 12 in all, no problems with the fit. Out of the 12 one was DOA, the rest are great. Must have gotten lucky.

I got my protected gray 10440's from Deal Extreme and they seem a little weak. The vapor production isn't too good and then drops off quickly. We need a more powerful battery to make this Precise the cat's meow. The protected 10440's are not as powerful as the blue ones which won't fit in my Precise but produce great vapor in my Janty Stick.

I have gray Trustfires rated at 400 mah,from DX, and they are generally weaker than generic blue and Ultrafires in blue with much lower ratings on the label. I too would very much like to be able to try the AW batteries in the Precise.
