For me it was a combination. smok Magneto II and a Sigelei 100w. Topped with an Igo W-3 I had to start chucking clouds to make the transition. Something that would give me the nic buzz and throat hit I wanted. 18mg in a tank wasn't doing it for me, and 24mg tasted nasty to me like nicorette. The nautilus mini and spinner did get me down to a cig or three per day but couldn't get me to extinguish completely. And I prefer to refer to them as APV's lol.

Whatever works for each person I think is awesome.

image.jpgStarted with a cigalike but continured to bum smokes off friends. Upgraded to kanger evod, bummed smokes less but still bummed. Once I got a provari I quit completely. Now I have a Provari and a Reo, and I love them both equally :)

a blu kit was good for cutting back ... I needed a proper PV to quit though

This...

I smoked 2 cigarettes on my way to the vape shop... On 23 October 2014... Haven't touched them since...

I still have my last two and a lighter in my car, just as a reminder, and to possibly keep from killing my employees who find enjoyment in pissing me off!

Failed with a cigalike. Quit cold turkey with a basic ego/kgo starter kit and CE4/Vivi Nove Mini tanks.

Went to the VTR/Protank 2 about a month later. Started rebuilding my coils. Ran that for months. Recently went to a Sigelie 100w with plume veil RDA and big dripper RDTA. Christmas Eve will be one year tobacco free (cigarettes and dip).

Similar story for my wife. Same starter kit. Went to an ITaste VV with T3S (that I rebuild), to an MVP2, to my hand-me-down VTR with Protank 2. She's a chain vaper that burns through battery life like crazy and needs a tank (no interest in dripping) so being able to alternate 18650's has been nice for her instead of tethering a usb charger.

Andigaut, what is the blueish device that is in the picture? It looks interesting and looks like something I can sneak in my pockets to vape on in the bathroom at my internship. ;)

I also started with V2 cigs and Green Smoke. Ditched the Green Smoke and kept with V2. Also added some CE4 starter kits and T3s cardo's. 4 months now smoke free.

Me too! But boy were those cartos expensive! On analogs I was paying $6-$7 every 3-4 days since I'd been down to 1/4 pack a day (and only after work). With V2 Reds I was spending $10 every 1-2 days. After a few months of that, my wife started to get ticked that I was blowing my monthly 7-Eleven budget, so I made the switch to better gear and e-juice. The startup costs have been relatively high since I've experimented a lot, but over time this will get much cheaper and I will be able to step down to 0mg hopefully in the next couple of months.
