Sorry in advance because im sure that theres another thread like this but i sorta in a rush.

Anyways im a menthol kinda guy. I love camel crush but i need to stop smoking asap. My criteria is that i cant spend much more than $50 and i want thick vapor to do tricks. I tried a few from friends and the vapor was kinda weak. I really dont know a lot so anything helps haha.

Thanks everyone!

Welcome! I got a starter pack with an ego twist and a clearomizer - very easy, worked fine. For lots of vapor, from what I've read, you want a voltage that can go above 4 (like the twist or spinner), and a 50/50 or higher VG liquid. I find that my 650 twist runs fine, and is good for carrying around, but also runs kind of hot. I have a 1300 vision spinner at home that I kind of prefer - runs cooler, more vapor, more satisfying ... I quit analogs on day 1, and as long as I'm charged up it's all fine ...

Would it be a mistake to start out with a tank system like a Mini Vivi Nova?

Nope, not a mistake at all. A tank system can be a really good idea, but might set the initial full rig cost over $50 including the juice. ;)

Personally, I think starting with an eGo-C Twist 1000 mah battery or a Spinner 1100mah battery, coupled with the Kanger ProTank (with the top wick removed) and a charger for the battery is probably one of the finest starter rigs I could ask for, but that is just me and others would say the ProTank is a pain in the rear... Mine works like a champ and lasts far longer than any carto I have ever tried. I don't have any real experience with the Vivi Nova stuff, looks good, but don't know enough about it to recommend it. ;)

Thanks guys that helps! So is 650 and 1300vision like a brand or does it mean something else?

Vision is the Brand of battery, yeppers. Nice thing about the vision batteries is that you can read your settings easier on the knob. The eGo batteries are kinda hard to read.

i'm a menthol girl too... right now i'm working on vaperite organic just menthol in 50pg/50vg thats about 11.99 (not in love but just ordered a few new ones to try out...i'll keep you posted) I would suggest the joyetech ego-T passthrough battery - $20 on wordupecig.com and comes with charger with the kanger evod bcc clearomizer $6 on sale now at cravinvapes.com (if you go there you should try the pink lemonade liquid - its awesome) all together with shipping itll be under $50.

As many others are recommending I would say an Ego-C Twist is really a good way to go to get started. The Vivi nova tank is ok but I tend to get a lot of muted flavor from it... I personally like to use drip atomizers, like a bridgeless cisco spec atomizer from avid vapor. A bit more work to drip, but really effective on helping me quit a pack of Newports per day when I decided to put the cigs down. A fusion/Boge cartomizer is a bit less work. Lots of vapor really good taste on both of these options.

ego twist or spinners are ok but are overpriced and limited to 3 settings, if you want real pen style vv from 3.0 to 6.0 volts in 0.1 increments try http://.........blogspot.com/2013/04/a-must-ego-v-aka-kgo-vv-ego-passthrough.html

3 settings? No.....3.3 to 4.8 in tenths if it is desired.

1300 Mah Vision Spinner (exhale vapor had them for $22.99 and they are superior to a joyetech ego twist, not much but are better)
2 Evods (about $12 anywhere)
420 Mah USB wallcharger (about $6-8)

Buy $8 worth of menthol eliquid where u buy it all, prolly exhale vapors

$50 well spent for a new vapor

Deacon Aegis is right on the money, but instead of a boge carto or Vivi I'd recommend an iClear 16 clearo, unless you don't mind the tank being wider than the battery and you want the larger juice capacity, then a Vivi or carto-tank might be the way to go. I just think the iClear works better than most other clearos and looks nicer on an eGo. I got my first rig from MyFreedomSmokes, but VapingMe (good place for iClears,) and DiscountVapers (good prices all around, and a HUGE selection,) are also good vendors.

Well, you might want to try Cuecig, they have the most affordable eGo starter kits around:

650mAh Single EGO-CE4v2 with Carry Case (Black) - Cuecig.com

As you can see, if you add a $10 bottle of e-liquid (the kit itself comes with some, though), you're off and running for around $35. I order from them, and I've never had a problem. :vapor:
