hi! i just made the transition from a cig-style (innokin aio w/ pcc) to an ego as well. i'm pretty happy with my setup now:

- 2 650mah ego-t batteries
- 5 vision ego stardust clearomizers (i find the clearomizer is more convenient than the tank system)
- 100% vg juices from velvet cloud vapr (i highly recommend "nightshift")
- charging cable and wall plug

i bought mine from a local NYC store, but the ladies at cignot have good customer service. it might be better to get the parts separately tho, as opposed to a kit, but here's one:

I strongly suggest you pickup a variable volt ego such as the EGO-C Twist or Vision spinner. Apollo Ecigs also has a very neat looking ego which also doubles as a passthrough with a variable voltage from 3.0v-6.0v with a 3amp limit.

This way if you ever find any new clearos or LR/HR attys you can always use them at different volts instead of the same 3.7 a standard ego outputs.

Suggest you go with the eGo-c battery. It has better charge and short protection than any of the eGo batteries. Get at least two. Twists are nice as well but you can get good wattage by using different ohm'd coils.

Joye Ego-C Battery | Joyetech Ego-C Electronic Cigarette Batteries

You'll need an eGo charger and a wall plug (if you don't have one):

Joye ego USB Charger
Joyetech AC to USB Adaptor

And while the vision clearomizers can be good, I prefer the Kanger T-3's with the bottom coils and wicking which prevets dry hits and poor wicking. The coils are replaceable and the draw and flavor are very good.

replacement coils:

Another similar choice is the new Kanger 'evod' - a bit less volume as the T-3's but also bottom coil and wicking and cheaper replacement coil units:

Kangertech EVOD BCC eGo Bottom Coil Clearomizer
replacement coils:

Other vendors carry these but this one had both the true Joyetech eGo-c's and the Kangers....

Heaven Gifts has these cheaper, true Joye products, but the shipping will be more. I get them in 4-5 days living in Ohio.

"Tabac = Kanger T-3" 5 packs:
5pc eGo 3ml Tabac BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clear cartomizer/Clearomizer - eGo BCC Clearomizer Heaven Gifts
5pc Coil Unit for Tabac BCC (Bottom Coil Changeable) Clear cartomizer/Clearomizer - eGo BCC Clearomizer Heaven Gifts

Evod 5 pack:
5pc eGo 1.6ml EVOD MT BCC (Metal Bottom Coil Changeable) Clear cartomizer/Clearomizer - eGo EVOD BCC Cartomizer Heaven Gifts
5pc EVOD Coil Unit for eGo EVOD MT BCC (Metal Bottom Coil Changeable) Clear cartomizer/Clearomizer - eGo EVOD BCC Cartomizer Heaven Gifts

At HG there's a better choice of ohms for the replaceable coils. The clearomizers come in 1.8Ω at HG and that's good for most flavors but lighter flavors do better on the 2.2Ω coils. 2.4 may be a bit too light. And 1.5 is quite hot in these.

Would suggest a ego twist so you can play with the voltage. As an electrician of 22 years, there are acceptable deviations in ohms. A twist will allow you to fine tune your voltage settings to allow you the best flavor/vapor combo you enjoy. Just my two cents. As for delivery system, it is all up to personal tastes. I find a dual coil cartomizer or a viva nova tank work well for me. I am trying the Tabac BCC Cartomizer right now. I find that the bottom coil feeds better, but for some reason the flavor seems muted- even after 3 tanks full of juice.

+1 on a variable voltage battery, it's the only way to go IMO. Nothing can beat being able to easily fine tune all your different cartomizers/clearos/tanks to fit the needs of specific juices. Sometimes you might feel like a strong hard hit, which you can easily achieve by cranking the voltage up. Other juices call for a mellow ~3.2 volt vape.

I prefer clearomizers for ease of use. You fill them up very infrequently(depending on how often you vape). Cartomizers aren't bad but I feel like I'm always topping them off to avoid the burnt poly taste. Certainly a lot more hassle than some people want to deal with. I would recommend the EVOD clearomizer and a few extra replacement coils.
