My latest two KFL+ have been from EHpro and Tobeco, both are very high (and equal) quality. I can't speak about the Taifun models, but the Kayfun Lite Plus clones are great and I don't feel a need to look for anything better.

which do you like better the ehpro or the tobeco? where did you buy yours?

I have several Kayfun clones and they work great. I recently tried a friend's Taifun GT and it seemed to be at least as good as a Kayfun in terms of vapor, flavor and TH. Quality was was outstanding (and it should be for how much it costs). The thing that intrigues me about the Taifun is that you don't have to empty the tank to rewick or change your coil... also setup looks pretty easy (although it may be ever-so-slightly more challenging than setting up a Kayfun). Filling was easy and convenient. I really liked it.

I was so impressed with the Taifun GT that I ordered a clone (Acerig) and am awaiting receipt. Hope it is at least 80% as good as the genuine article I tried.

Just use the advance search box and type "taifun" in it. Loads of threads scattered about. Mostly in the rebuildable board, but some in general, & tips and tricks.

yeah that didn't help i tried it and i saw only two threads, i don't know why it didn't work. i'll just have to keep my eye out for threads.

I have both.....and I like them both. Both of mine came from Fasttech.

With the same coil in each of them, wicked with cotton, my preference is for the Taifun GT though. For me, the draw is more open to my liking. Which probably also accounts for the fact that the Taifun produces a bit more vapor. Flavor is outstanding on both of them.

The Taifun can also be rebuilt/re-wicked without having to empty the tank out. A big plus in my book.

I say get both. That way you'll know for sure. You shouldn't be disappointed with either of them. ;)

I love my Kayfuns and have originals and many clones.

My favorite clone, and the closest to the original, is the Tobeco v2 of the KFL+ in my opinion.

Threads and machining are very solid and precise. The real difference is in the airflow. I have my clones as open as they go while my originals are adjusted a little tighter. I do straight lung inhales, but like a draw that still allows lots of vapor to condense for flavor. If you add too much air you lose flavor in my experience.

Building the Taifun with a contact (micro) coil should be just as easy as the Kayfun if not even a bit easier. The problem I could see arising with cotton is not using enough to keep it from flooding the chamber. I use a larger coil in mine at 2.2mm and wick it with a little extra cotton which fills the wick holes in the chamber completely, and I also leave a couple extra mm outside the chamber. So far, I haven't lost a single drop of liquid from it.
