Im looking to order a kayfun clone for my vamo. I need some help deciding which one. Since i cant post links, i am looking on fasttech so that i can get my other stuff i need and this all in one order. If you guys can post some suggestions that would be great.

I am at the end of this process.

Got two from fasttech. They were junk (as could be expected for the price I suppose). Lasted a couple of months each, were really fiddly, leaky, and lasted a couple of months each.

Then I got the ehpro KFL. Had some setup (screws were too long, stuff in the airhole, cleaning up the threads). Once set up, was pretty good.

Then I got the Russian 91%.

Realized that I had wasted time and money with all the tanks that came before.

From my experience, I wouldn't go below the ehpro. A friend got the hcigar KFL, and it seems nicer than the ehpro.

And be careful - there is a clone of the ehpro clone out there - it's absolute junk.

When shopping on ft read all the reviews and forums on the products. That usually helps me with the decision on what to get from clone to clone. I don't own anything real all clones. It's cheap anyway. Nice to try em all out at the 3rd of the price. I can read pages and pages of reviews on fast tech bc I want to be sure what I'm buying. I usually end up getting the on that has the most reviews..

EHpro and Hcigar make the best Kayfun/Russian clones.

Tobeco comes in a close 3rd

Fasttech is really hit and miss, plus there seems to be some strange sort of Kayfun clone from fasttech that has 4 juice channels instead of 2 that's really prone to leaking and flooding.

And just so you know....

The Kayfun 3.1 is the same as the Russian. They have adjustable airflow, a collector tank under the coil, and adjustable 510 connector.

The Kayfun Lite lacks the adjustable airflow, collector tank, and adjustable 510 connector.

The Kayfun Lite Plus is the same as the Russian 91%. It has adjustable airflow and an adjustable 510 connector, but lacks the collector tank. Also, while the airflow is adjustable, the screw is on the bottom which requires removing the topper from your mod to adjust it.

I just got the fasttech kayfun 3.1 (A) and I really like it. May get another.
2 complaints:
1) The 510 screw that makes the connection to the battery is too big, I don't know how it wasn't shorted.
Had to put the screw in a drill and file .02" off the head diameter.
2)OMG, the crud that showed up on it after boiling it in mild soap water was unbelievable. Spent an hour cleaning it before use.
(had other stainless parts in with it that weren't like that)

I also have the rocket which is ok , but poor build quality compared to the kayfun. It's also chromed brass.

The first Hcigar Kayfun I bought was sort of dirty. Nothing major, but it did need a cleaning before use.

The most recent one I bought (3 weeks ago) was pristine. I broke out my supplies to clean it, and even though I went through all of the motions most of it probably didn't really need it. I found almost no trace of oil, dirt, or metal shavings. The one exception was in the airflow hole. A little machine oil came out of that when I soaked it in soapy water. Other than that though, it was surprisingly clean.

I just recieved the fasttech 1494700 aka the (A) model for $21.54. It required no major cleaning. No oil. I just rinsed it in vodka same as I do for any clearomizer. No odd machining. Threads are clean and smooth. It works great. Hasn't leaked a drop. Air flow adjusts fine (I like midrange). It vaped great on my first coil wick combo (2 ohm coil on 2 mm rod).
I recommend it even though it did take 2 weeks to arrive.

I have the original Russian, and vapes great. If rebuying today, I'd get the same thing, or the Hcigar Kayfun clone if I couldn't score the Russian. The Authentic Russian and Kayfun are often hard to come by. But if you could find one, would recommend the real deal over a clone, they are just so worth the price of admission.

So many clones and too many of the vendors do not tell the manufacturer- Do I understand correct that Hcigar only makes a 3.1 model ? How is one to tell the difference between Ehpro and Tobeco KFL's ? Who makes the KFL+ ? Is the + model still a little shorter than the 3.1/Russian ?
To my understanding the Taifun lite PLUS means it comes with Air Flow Control much like the Russian 91% so yes shorter than the 3.1 or full size Russian
