I've been looking at a new MTL setup since I need something to up my nicotine level to stay off of the analogs when I get the bad cravings. After some research, I've pretty much settled on a kayfun to pair with either a Nemesis or a Caravela. My only problem is that there are too many different models. Can anyone recommend which one I should get? Or, if there is a better MTL tank, I'm open to suggestions. I only use RTAs or RDAs so nothing with replaceable coil head please.

I use the good ole Kayfun Lite! Next to a cartotank they are the best mouth to lung tanks going! I always have one filled and ready to go!

Recommend Kayfun lite plus, Kayfun Mini V3, or Kayfun 4 or 5

Another good MTL RTA is the Taifun GT-II.

You may want the ability to do Lung hits later. There is the Monster. NO THE MONSTER WILL NOT WORK MTL MODE.

I have a couple Russian 91% and Kayfun Lite+ V2's, both basically the same tank, and are great RTAs. I also have a couple Kayfun V4's, a little more complex, but easier to work with, don't have to drain the tank to get to the coils for rebuild/rewicking, and they offer top fill over the Kayfun Lite's bottom fill screw. The Kayfun V3 Mini looked interesting, a revamp of the V4, but as it stands now, I have a V5 on order and in shipping atm, waiting excitedly for its arrival :)

Die hard kayfun user here so I'm biased. But for simplicity and ease of replacement parts it's hard to go wrong with a kayfun. I top fill all my lites and 3.1s no problem. Just hold a finger over the air holes, soft snug the cap, turn upside and secure the cap. Almost never floods.

I have some v3 mini clones. Great simple tanks but 2mls goes kinda quick. I have a v3 mini+ on the way on the slow boat that holds 3.2mls.

One fun thing about the lite bases of any version is that you can get all kinds of tanks or bell caps to fit them for really cheap. Get some short chimney tops and you can get a 27mm tank and shave 7mm off the height. I'm prob a kayfunner for life.
