Another one to give serious consideration to would be the Echo. It's an 808 auto that comes in 650mah and 1300mah, the single coil Echo cartomizers are fantastic, you can get CE4 clearomizers for them if you prefer. They cartos hold 3ml, work great and the battery is the best auto I've come across. Check out Cropduster901 for more info. Plus you're Volt cartos will fit the Echo. In my opinion, stick with 808's, it's a better connection.

808 parts are o.k., but it's a lot easier to get a 510/808 adapter than it is to find 808 parts. There are a lot of things not available in an 808. The selection just isn't there. That means, on average, you're going to pay more for 808 cartos, atomizers, clearomizers, etc. if you can get them at all.
I really respect you sailorman and your knowledge is a great asset to ECF, but I have to disagree with you on this point you've made. Which products are you referring to that aren't available in an 808 connection? I've used both 510 and 808 gear and prefer
808's because they're easier to keep clean, easier for maintenance like post pulling and because of the connection the cartomizers always hold more than the 510 equivalent.
