I have been vaping now for about 9 months. My first ecig (joye306 white one orange led) looked very close to a cig. I needed that visual stimulation to help me quit analogs. My current ecig is a matte black Joye510 that I use different led colors with. I DIY liquid, so with VG amount I can control the "smoke/vapor". I really like the smaller ecigs as they are so portable as I am outside doing things a lot. Like mowing, pruning, yaddah yaddah yaddah. I just pop my 510 in my little hand sanitizer sprayer pop it in my shirt pocket and I'm off. Oh and of course I have the 510 PCC, as there is no way around getting by with out one.

So... I want more battery life.... so...

I have never owned a mod or even seen one in person. Pictures really can not define size or weight.

I would like to get opinions from users about what mod would be best for an active person that does a lot of outside yard work. One type mod is out. The Box mod. I'm sorry it is a great little gizmo someone came up with but to me it is just ugly as all get out and I have zero interest in vaping a box. LOL!

So I am looking for:

Good battery life
Stylish looks
Very portable, able to fit in a shirt front pocket
Holds the flavor of the juice well
Does not cost an arm and a leg (i only have two of each and need them all)
Comes with everything needed as I have no batts and chargers for any of those things
I do have Joye 510 stuff though.

Help?

Have you considered just getting some "Mega" 510 batteries? They will give you about twice the battery life of the standard 510 units. And with the 30% off sale at TW right now.. you can get them for about the same price as the regular ones.. if not less.

No need for different chargers.. you can use all of your existing 510 stuff... etc. etc...

You can guess what im going to suggest :D Have it on a lanyard around your neck and sits in shirt pocket perfectly, thats what I do with my ScrewDriver.
Stylish, small, 901 has great flavor, battery life is brilliant and replacements are very very cheap. Worth looking at now its on special sale price (I just bought my 2nd in black) its gorgeous  ecigscrewdriver.com
Or the MK2 from TW is now 30% off in the US The Silver Screwdriver Electronic Cigarette Kit

I could find no price on the ego. Well heck not much info at all on it. Is the dura 510 atty the same as the Joye510 atty even? Looks nice. But no info yet as to what comes with it, battery run time, and so on.

About the SD. I have the 510 because cart size hold a lot of ejuice and with the pbt cart mod i can go a few hours with out topping. What is the 901 cart size compared to the 510? Also I have no 901 supplies what so ever.

Keep the suggestions coming folks please. I would like to be well informed.

Thank You to those that have made suggestions so far.

RobertY, the problem with going with a mod is that it is going to be quite bigger than the 510. I am not sure exactly which model would fit you needs the best. Do you plan on carrying it in your pocket with the atty connected? You could really take your pick since there are adapters out now that can take about any battery fitting to any atty. The problem with carrying them in your pocket is that alot of them can be accidentally turned on which can be bad if you have the atty connected.

I just bought an X-haler (in Black Vapor) a few minutes ago... with the KR808d-1 tip adapter (don't think you'd need this), battery charger and bats (2 3v), 2 extra 3v bats, and a small bottle of Lung Juice for $109.80... don't forget to use the coupon code... it's on the nHaler site...

Look at the spade at dietsmokes.com

It sounds like just what you're looking for. BigIceDog also made a review of his over a nu-vapor.com if you care to see it.

I really like the looks of the Spade, and have been thinking of getting one myself. The battery capacity isn't that much higher than a 510 Mega... but it's no big deal to carry a charged battery with me for swap-outs.

Looking forward to a how to on that also. My problem is that I am all thumbs. LOL!

I failed to mention that the 510 PCC can be modified to accept the Megas.. although you'll only get a couple of charges out f it per PCC charge. But for most that will get you through the day, and then some.

I hope to post the PCC mod pictures soon.

I have a VP1, which is basically a precursor to the spade. Its from VaprLife, they also have a VP2 which is a little bigger and takes bigger batteries.

But I find the VP1 lasts long enough, and I can carry the smaller batteries to swap out. Its not a high voltage mod, just a longer battery life one. Although I do think it pumps out more vapor than the standard 510 batteries.

Its fairly light, although I understand the spade is lighter, and very solid clean construction. Very sturdy, and not too much for a shirt pocket, although I tend to bring a KR808D-1 or regular 510 batteries and chargers out with me. The mods are just not as subtle for stealth vaping.

RobertY, if you don't mind, let us know what you decide on. I know you have said that you do not want a nicostick but have you considered a janty stick or joye stick(same thing). Heavengifts now sells the joye stick and adapters so you could use a 510 on it if you like. The battery they use is a 10440 and I think are either 320 or 360mah batteries which are basically the same size as a triple A.
