I have a BB I bought only a couple months ago and it can take protected cr2's. I personally find 6V to be too hot. IT does work well with a 4.5 ohm atty. I am currently using the BB with Cr2's and a terminator attached to change the voltage. I'm usually around 5.25V with a standard atty. I don't need the terminator with a 4.5 ohm atty.

So many mods out there. Good luck with your search, I hope yoiu get something you love.

Personally I can't wait for the Darwin.

Now theres someone i was looking for! a personal BB user. how's the feel and durability? man if i could get it to 5.5v i think i may conform to the BB. Ugh, I know he did it for protection purposes keeping it lower voltage but damn that sucks the BB is reg'd at 3.7. And i know it's a contradiction but modifying a mod myself just doesn't seem too appealing to get the extra .25 voltage. (I leave that to the pro's LOL)

Thanks for the advice though. And i will admit right now the sexiest LOOKING mod to me is the BB. but without that extra voltage i may be steering clear.

P.S, i keep hearing that the heat is the problem with the 6v. and while you could be right, i gotta know myself before i can agree LOL

the darwin? hmmm, i'll have to look that one up. I haven't seen the spec's on it.

NEW GG Telescopic Battery electronic cigarette GGTB can be used at many voltages depinging on the battery or batteries used in it(uses any battery size up to and including 17670) and is a very decent price and great starter mod. They are 100% mechanical so no solder, glue or circuitry to break or go bad. It will last a lifetime! They will be in stock in about a week with 4 choices in finishes, but they do go very fast off the shelf and only get restocked every couple months since the are custom made by one man in Greece. ;)

Might want to check out the Saber Touch from vapormoon.com, I picked up one at 5 volts one, but Sir Lawrence make a cool Saber Touch VariVolt model. This thing is built like a tank.

So, i've done alot of research on the saber touch (thanks for the advice) and it appears sir lawrence is including a life time gaurantee or something with this mod? it appears pretty cool. I love the button on it. I have to be honest though, to me it's one point job away from looking like the hex. I know that sounds funny but to me it just does lol.

not EXTREMELY sexy but from what nicfitnation and smokey say, it's definately a killer mod.

I'm just so worried that the modders haven't perfected the varivolt on these yet and it's going to short out somewhere inside down the line.

That's really my concern about varivolt, i'm not going to lie.

hahah, were you the guy in the classifieds this morning trying to get your hands on a used GG? haha you were trying HARD to get your hands on that thing without all the other things he was selling i think.

I have watched alot of reviews on the GG. my only gripe is the darn button. that thing looks so flimsy to me (like if i put it in my pocket or bag. or drop it, the darn gold button is going to break right off)

other then that, the mod looks fantastic. and from what igetcha69 says, it feels great in your hands.

THATS WHAT SHE SAID!!

You can also buy a fuse upgrade for this and using protected batteries don't need to worry about safety when increasing the voltage and can go one step further by using safer chemistry batteries. 2 lifePo4 3v"s in it :)

The button is super durable and it locks to prevent misfires. I own many GG mods and models. I will NEVER buy any other!

If it were ever to break somehow new buttons cost $25 and are very easy to replace, but I doubt it would happen, I'm pretty rough on mine.
If for some reason you didn't like it they are pretty easy to get rid of for what you paid. Many people trying to get their hands on them. If you didn't notice that classified thread, that GG was very used looking and 3 of us were trying to get it from him. ;)

The BB feels great and seems to be very durable. I have dropped it many times without getting any marks. I dropped it on cement once and it made a tiny mark. For the amount of money I had to spend to get the BB where I want it, I probably would've been better off with a different mod. I do love the size of it and how it feels.

I have the silver vein finish.

So you only purchase GG's huh? hmmm that's a very powerful statement.
And if you don't mind me asking, what other mods have you used? i'm only asking because, maybe you tried the first one and fell inlove and refused to try another. Or, maybe you have tried a bunch and you just think that one is the best built.

The GG would be pretty ironic (check out my username LOL)

Ok, so with that being said, do you think a silver bullet or chuck would have been a better bang for your buck?

Wow man, you took pics for me. Thanks a bunch man!!

I'm really getting alot of good feed back from you guys. Taking pics of your fav USING mods is pretty powerful.

Thanks for the advice by the way!

No, I think the SB and chuck would be the same scenario, at least I have a VV mod now. I would've been better off getting a VV mod or a good juice feed mod.

See, i think i'm going to wait until AFTER cisco unleashing the helix. I know i sound REALLY biased here. but, i'm worried the VV will simply fail or short out something on all the mods. i think after the helix is launched completely, maybe we can all see modders take the saber touch, the pro vari , the shock wave and the helix apart and perfect it. i'm super scared those high tech mods will fail and i'll be out 150.00 bones.

I know i sound like a wuss but that's really my fear.

BUT that being said, people with balls enough to make the migration over to a VV i applaud you.

Are you chomping at the bits for the 5v wet box mod like i am too? lol pretty stoked about it.

No, I've read too many bad things about the wetbox. If I'm gonna put down good money on a mod, you bet it's not gonna be a plastic box.

I would love the Kaji Ali. Or a Reo. But I like the look of wood better.

really? cause i've only heard and read good things about it. i'll have to do more research now cause I was sold on it.
Also, i wouldn't be a fan of the 3.7 box only a 5v. i'm really done with a 3.7 unless i'm drip tipping with an LR 306 atty.

Now, do you know if the Rio or Kaji plan to launch a 5v box any time soon?

hmmmm, maybe i should look into making a plastic box mod.

I,ve tried the silver bullet, wetbox, little sister/big brother, provape. I stand by the GG products and Imeo is very helpful in his forum with anything needed help/parts whatever. I really love the AVS feed system for the GG defo the bomb IMO although there is a bit of a learning curve to it (some get it some don't)
