So I've only dripped on 306LR attys and never really enjoyed the experience. Either flooded or dry and felt like I was too close to the coil which was unsettling. I want to give dripping another go with some high quality gear.

My setup is:
- Big 3.7V devices like Silver Bullets or box mods
- AVE VG juices or heavily VG based DIY (always over 50% VG)
- Always tobacco juices (heard they are harder on coils)
- 5ml a day

Would you recommend IKV 510s or Cannon V2s?
And what resistance?

Thanks for any help.

i use cannon 1.8 at 3.7v with a raygun drip tip, very nice.good flavor. lots of vapor.when you get them rinse them out with hot water, let dry , prime with 4 or 5 drops. fire it a couple times then 2 or 3 drops from there. a little learning curve to them but once you got it you can tell when flavor is diving off.never get a dry burnt hit.

Rock on guys!!

Thanks for the reply. That is what I am initially leaning towards.

I also just noticed that this is the 801st thread in this forum
Is that an omen? Do I win anything? :vapor:
 I don't know my good man, there is 792 threads here :D
but seriously, it all depends on personal preference like the io6 is smaller, more slender has a tighter draw and is balanced in feel as flavor. The you have the extremists like say a 510 which doesn't produce all the much flavor, but makes it up in feel or an 801 that is geared towards flavor and less feel. Airflow plays just as a dramatic role in everything as does liquid and design. The Cannon's main focus is flavor but also provides more feel than the 801.. It has a more airy draw, but in all realty that depends on the device's 510 fitting.

Thanks Iken.

I prefer an airy draw and larger unit so going by your descriptions a 510 or cannon will suit me better than an i06. I'll just pick up one of each for a trial I think and see which feels better.

I have a 1.5 I06...on the 2nd week! not a stiff draw (and I don't like stiff) Have given it a pga bath three times and it still is not a stiff draw....yet! To Date: Best atty I've tried.

The thing that confuses me when I read an atty has lasted 70 days, was it used exclusively?
Or used a couple of hours a day? Or every couple of days?

Some people might put 1ml a day for 60 days through an atty so it will last them 2 months. Other people will do 30ml a week so it only lasts 2 weeks. I guess everyone is different.

My latest io6 lasted many months. Literally... October 26 2011 to April 8th 2012, running 3-5ml through it per day. It was a 2.5ohm that I used exclusively at 5.2v all the time. Draw got stiff twice. Cleaned it twice. First time was a dry burn and second time was just a hot water soak. All the while, I blew it out from the drip tip side once per week and it always performed flawlessly.

Good inquiry cop. I would use my 510 cannon maybe one vaping session per day; say around 2-4mls of juice. With the i06, I probably went thru 5-10 mls of juice per day using it on a provari, between 4.5 to 5v. I rarely go over 5v with any atty or carto. So I'd say the i06 was my exclusive vaping device during the 70 day period. I'd say around the two month mark I did a alcohol/hot water cleaning due to a tighter draw (very similar to Loft's situation I see). I was expecting it to die afterwards as I've never cleaned an atty or carto with success. But it fired right up and kept going. I do use VG heavy juices, but not sure if that makes a difference in the life. Heavily recommend to everyone I know who vapes.

I have finally tried the i06 @ 2.5 ohms and I must say I am very pleased. I have been using the standard resistance Fusion's for awhile and thought nothing would pull me away but these things are great! I was able to get a couple of the Siam drip tips from Switcher and I think those will help a lot. My only question is this, I am using an Infinity Pro that runs from 3.3 to 5.5 volts and I cant seem to get it past half way on the dial without getting a burnt taste. I also seem to need to add a couple of drops every 3 or 4 pulls, is that normal? Thanks for the assist folks this seemed like a good thread to post in as severl folks here are i06 experts. :vapor:
