I really like this (I got the white tie 510) but it's so heavy and the manual button thing kinda sucks so which one is more realistic and has good power? I'm new to this and still trying different flavors of juice. I would also like to know how long does a typical thing of juice last. I have the 10ml size I would just like to know for reordering times. Last but not least where is the best place to buy good yet not too expensive juice? I'd hate to switch only to find it's about the same cost as reg cigs. Thanks for any replies.

Hey DebraReed. With electronic cigarettes you're going to have to get used to the weight. They all weigh more than traditional cigarettes, and the 510 is about the average weight, maybe a little less than average. All I can really say in terms of weight is get used to it. :)

In terms of battery - you can buy automatic batteries for the 510. There are many places that sell them. Usually suppliers that sell 510's will sell auto batteries for them.

There really is no way of determining how long a bottle of juice will last. Each person is different. One persons 10ml bottle could last a month, whereas another persons could last three days. It all depends on how heavily you vape. I suggest buying a couple bottles at a time and seeing how long they last. It's all a game of trial and error.

As far as least expensive for good juice goes I can only go by experience, and in my experience if you buy from someone who doesn't put money into marketing and slapping their logo's on everything you'll get stuff much cheaper. Awesomevapor.com, thehouseofvapor.com, e-smokeytreats.com, juicyvapor.com are ones I would recommend looking into.

Hope this helped some. :)

Edit: Also, it's not nearly as expensive as smoking analog cigarettes unless you go crazy with it. All you need is a starter kit and some juice. That will last you roughly three months with enough juice. Your cigarettes will go bad, it's the way it is. Batteries will die eventually, and atomizers will go bad. But they are relatively cheap. $10-15 for batteries and atomizers. $30 every three months, plus roughly $50 every three months for juice (give or take). $80 every three months vs $504 every three months if you smoke a pack a day... it's very much cheaper.

Just so you know, there is no way that e-cigs are cheaper than analogs initially. You need to buy different PVs until you find your perfect one. You need to buy juice to find your favorites (I've thrown out probably 30 mL of samples because I hated them). Regardless, it does come out cheaper or similar in the end, but you gain so much more by switching to e-cigs than just a few bucks.

You'll need to get used to the weight (and you will) because obviously no electronic device will weigh the same as a paper sleeve filled with dried leaves.

I'm surprised that you don't like manual batteries. It's a pretty general consensus that they're better than auto batteries. I think you're still stuck in the, "I need this to feel/look/taste/draw like a cigarette" phase. Once you get past that and embrace the fact that you aren't really smoking anymore, you can really start to enjoy the possibilities that e-cigs give you.

For now, I'd recommend an auto 901. Keep the 510 around, though. I think you'll grow to like it much more than you do now.

edit - rockymountainvapor is pretty cheap for parts and juice. I've never had their juice but I've had good experiences with parts. Shipping is free and fast.

My absolute favorite supplier on the forums is Drew at NHaler. His juice is great and it's pretty reasonably priced. Only thing that kinda sucks is the $10 shipping charge. It's not bad for a decent sized order, but if you're just ordering a sample or two of juice, that's a little much.

I am new and currently looking to upgrade, I have the 510 but am a slightly heavy smoker and find my batteries constantly running out and having to top off continually. Not to mention my atty gets pretty hot. Ive heard a lot about the 901 but am not sure if it suits a heavy smoker. If you smoke moderately I think you'll love the 510.

I used Wholesale & Retail Best E-smoking Supplier for juice. the prices are 8 or 9 dollars for a 30ml bottle of juice. shipping is 15 dollars so if you get a few bottles it is worth it. they are from china so you will have to wait a few days to get your order. A lot of people have reccomended them to me I am wating to get my shipment from them since they had the holidays. I should get it at the beginning of next week. Their prices on starter kits and spare parts are also very reasonable.

mist stix has the cheapest juices ive found (17 dollars for 1 ounce or 30ml of juice)

i cut a 24mg 1 ounce flavorless into 3 ounces of 8mg and add my own flavorings

its really cheaper that way - still get a nice nic fix and that $17 bottle of juice can be stretched out to 4-5 months depending on the cost of my flavors, PG, and Vg i mix in

i bought 10 flavors of Lorann for 14.00 on ebay
i bought 16oz of 100% USP PG on ebay for 20.00
and 6oz of glycerine for 3.25

thats enough non nicotine juice FOR MONTHS!!!! AND MONTHS!! (i use about 1-3 ml a day depending on how much im vaping... the only cost is buying the high nicotine eliquid and then cutting it

but a 3ml bottle of 8mg e-liquid costs me about 2.00 MAX to make - and lasts 2-3 days

cigarettesx costed me 15.00 every two days...

it pays for itself within a week.
