Caved on a v2 after seeing the vapingcraze notification. Loving it so far. Haven't has a chance to rebuild and compare my v1 but the vape is denser and considerably warmer for me atm. The 2x well has been lasting me very long even on a 0.35 build.

How is the wicking from juice wells to the coil?

No problems if you set it up right. Less is more. I have the wick just touching the bottom and I can vape until the cotton and well is dry. Excess cotton just wastes juice in my experience. If your cotton is still wet but you're getting dry hits and having to re-drip then it's probably not wicking optimally.

Finally got my V2! I know Norbert suggests not to disassemble the positive pin but it was so dirty when I got it I just had to clean it. Brushed it with a toothbrush and toothpase :D

Setup with 26ga micro coil. Maybe it's just in my head but I think this has a bit more flavor than the V1. Coils are not all touching, I was in a hurry and didn't use a coil jig.

Do any of you realize the atty gets really hot? Heat doesn't seem to release from the atty fast enough. Anyone experience this? Seems to cook the juice in the wells and change the taste.

Yes, I noticed that it does get rally hot as well. I haven't concluded it cooks the juice, and haven't noticed a negative change in flavor.

Same here. Replaced the drip tip with a teflon one though to isolate from the heat. Much more comfortable this way.

I'm not a lung hit kind of guy, so basically I tried it on there with no build in the chamber, inhaled just air and laughed about how insanely open it was. For dual coil cloud chasers, I'm sure it's great! And it looks perfect on there too. But for a single coil, smallest airhole setting guy like me... it wasn't something that appealed to me.

Do you have a specific drip tip you like to use with this RDA?

Yep, I have to watch my lips with the stock drip tip since it is so short I have touched the topcap at times (although I love the look, wide bore, and funneling). Haven't any change in taste with any of my liquids. I would think you'd have to have a pretty sensitive liquid or your origen is getting really hot. Are your coils really close to the walls? Chain vaping?

All over the place
Intaste has Origen V2 in stock. It's 80 Euros, which translates to about $110. Still cheaper, even with shipping.
Origen Mods

I got my first one from inTaste but it came with no drip tip. I got my second one, #14, from Vaping Craze with the DT and the SS post for about $130. Finally I got it to the point of where building on this thing is a snap! At first it was driving me quite batty.

Question to all of you: do you have your coils closer to the air holes or to the center post? I ask because I see the posts about heat and I reckon if you have the coils close to the cap it will necessarily increase the heat delivered to the cap.

I just got the Origen v2 and as soon as I can figure out how to get the bottom off, it is so damn tight on there, I will build and try. But I also have a Quasar and like it fine but sometimes I get leakage through the air holes. Do you have that problem on your Quasar? Just curious.

I gotta say, i dont know what RipTrippers was talkin about with this RDA.

I got mine last week and i really, really really like it. Great flavor- but given that he had some weird coil build in it who knows why he had a different experience.

At this point, ive tried them all.. Helios, Atomic, Trident, Magma, Quasar, Tobh, Origen...and probably a few more i cant remember. Bottom line is any of them would qualify to be my only device, and it comes down to tiny nitpicks to narrow it down.

Right now, Quasar is my fav because of its solid feel/look, and i like the airflow adjustment on it better than the others. Origen is a solid 2nd place just for the amount of juice it holds. Vape is great. Compared to the Magma (which also has a super high juice capacity) the Origen wins. The magma is just too messy... any time you unscrew that top cap you get juice everywhere.

Well I finally figured out that the cap doesn't unscrew it just pops off and held on with o-rings which I'm sure everyone here knew but me, lol. However, even though I used a cover over the padded tool I was using to try and unscrew it I put a nice gash across my brand new beautifully polished Origen v2, ARGH! Is anyone familiar with getting deep scratches out of SS? I have the equipment, such as a Dremel and attachments but have never tried to do anything but polish. Would appreciate any advice!
