I stopped rebuilding coils weeks ago. Too much hassle for what amounts to a $1.25 head that can easily be replaced.
I can re-build a coil in less than 10 minutes, start to finish, it is not a hassle at all. Sometimes you just need a new coil.
Although I agree, if you clean and dry burn properly, you can make a coil last a very, very long time. I still prefer to re-build after the initial wick gets gunked up because I find them easier to maintain with a single 3mm wick, rather than the 2mm wick with the flavor wicks.
