Thanks Djs, very informative. I am still not sure whether am going to keep the Amigo or return, is this starter kit a better choice
Wismec Vicino E-cig Kit and E-liquid
To be honest I didn't expect V2 to be scummy company, I saw a lot reviews and comments and I couldn't find any negatives, maybe I didn't research enough.
Also is there a list with recommended e-juice brands? I suppose a lot of them are overpriced junk disguised as fancy premium juice.
I should have mentioned I am after big clouds, not sure if I can get one in my price range? (up to £50).
Wismec... yeh, OK, but just watch where you buy. Totally Wicked are making out they are doing you a deal at £43 instead of £54.
Well it is not a £43 e-cig for starters.
Funny how the
same company will sell it to you for £32.... elsewhere. w.t.h ???
The reason why you can't find bad reviews on brands is because this is how the e-cig industry works. They incentivize reviewers, pay loads of money in commission and rig the internet with the help of specialist e-marketing companies who can sell 4 apples for £20 by basically, well, lying.
Now. Premium e-liquid. Yes... you are correct. Some UK companies selling premium e-liquid are just selling junk. It costs 20p to make and they sell for £4.99 or even worse.
Can you imagine this happening with coffee or biscuits in the supermarket? They would not sell anything and nobody would buy it as it's just so obvious what's going on.
Premium doesn't really exist. It's just the opposite of dodgy/nasty/don't care what we put in it.
Either they use cheap nicotine and flavors (some do) or they simply use the normal stuff usually with more VG and still charge a flippin' fortune.
The only liquid you might consider premium is the imported US stuff and the small UK juice companies. If a big brand shop is calling it premium, you can more or less guarantee it's the opposite. I'm not talking about Totally Wicked by the way.
I would maybe give the Vicino a try for £32. It's a bit like the old Eleaf iJust2. If you put a 0.3ohm coil in something like that, you get almost 60 watts, which is nice and cloudy.
I kind of like the iJust2 but it was not 'set' to a particular power... which made it frustrating. The battery drains and so does the vape.
One idea would be to buy a mod (75w single battery or 150+ dual battery) and get a serious sub-ohm tank that genuinely does 50,70,100 watts.
I don't vape tanks above 35w really (I use RDAs) but the original Uwell Crown 0.25 can do 60-80w easy. There are more powerful ones now too. 100w easy.
I'm getting two more Uwells from China as they won't be legal in the UK from May next year.
