Like the title suggests id like to get into the wonderful world of TC, but I would like to keep it within my price range. Ive also done some of my own homework, as im trying to keep the price to under 100$ and the best three ive come up with are the ...

So beyond the above listed mods, are there any other I should have my eye on. This is not something I "HAVE" to have RIGHT NOW, I dont mind waiting if there is something new and exciting on the horizon. Its just something I would like into relatively soon as I hear nothing but good things about TC.

David's point is a viable alternative. :)

If you insist with a few caviats:

Hcigar DNA 40 (Authentic Evolv)

It's NOT a clone and after about two months it works fine. Nice and hefty. Plenty of power for me and more than I will ever need. An AUTHENTIC Evolv board and the fit and finish is above average. Price dropped a little recently and a good value. Nit picks: wish it was more "rounded" on the edges/corners and just a little bit smaller. No mod is perfect from where I sit so the pluses outway my nit pics.

- You should already be comfortable with Kanthal Builds if your delivery device requires you to build a coil+wick.
- Spaced coils please. Their is a learning curve
- For me, the ability to eliminate dry hits in my drippers justifies the journey. No more and no less. :)
- For me via side by side tests, their is no difference in the flavor and vapor production when compared to a Kanthal
- I don't use NI200 in any of my RTAs since I never get dry hits
- The Evolv DNA40 has been out long enough that the yuky early adopter glitches (insert my pain /lol) have been fixed, providing your vendor of choice is using the latest version of the chip. This is of course is true for my source listed above but you should confirm this with other vendors. My guess is that this chip will continue to improve and enjoy more widespread acceptance but this is only my guess.
- You definitely do not want a Evolv DNA200 which is likely to be released sooner rather than later. That's a chip for early adopters who enjoy pain /lol and are very very very technically inclined. Give this chip 6 months to a year for maturity and widespread adoption and fixes.

These are my experiences and I admit that I am a single coil, flavor chasing maniac.

:)
