My dovpo TC-50 turned up just now literally so haven't had a chance to build a tc coil yet but I like the mod so far excusing one glaring build issue or maybe it's a new feature the moving screen hold it one way perfectly level tip it slightly and 30° down angle lol. On VW it's giving me the same vape as a sigelei 50 not too bad for over half the price but the dovpo is running hot so another potential problem with the accuracy. Will report back when I've had a chance to do a tc build, but so far for £26 it's pretty good love the battery door and it's tiny compared to sig 50 or the istick.

the SXK Vapor Flasks, Zero mod and their new Nebula are all great values for TC with the adjustability of the Nickel Purity menu. Im using 316L Stainless Steel in my Zero and Titanium in my flask. adjusted to the correct NP and they work either wire great. 60w as well, been very satisfied. Not as precise as a Diocedes or SX mini but at $65ish from China and usually $100 on Ebay a great bargain IMO

I have an SXM and a kangxin vf mini. I think Kangxin mini vf is the best low budget Tc 50$ :)

You may be right but I cant use nickel due to an allergy to it and honestly titanium has been my favorite wire material so far.... stronger than Kanthal but a little springy. Soooo much better than nickel to work with. SS works good too though

OK just did my first ever tc coil tempered ni200 10 wraps coming in at .21♎can confirm that tc works very well did the cotton test not a mark on it and very accurate reading of the coil exactly the same as my ohm meter so thumbs up for dovpo there. Got a friend bringing his rDNA vs round tomorrow just to do a quick comparison as the dovpo is using a very similar if not direct rip off of the dna40 but so far it's just working really well. Finish on the mod is good nice uniform covering no obvious blemishes, battery door is a real plus on this and with the ribbon makes battery swapping very quick and easy although I'm only half way through a 25r but it is nearly six months old due for replacement next month. Am planning to open up the innards tomorrow to see if I can fix the screen in place so far that's the only thing I can complain about with this, it's a very simple no frills temp mod for £26 you can't go wrong to be honest and a good entry into temp control.

Well you may be in for a treat very soon. Yihi is about to release another firmware update for their SXM and it will be including Ti along with their Kanthal A1 and NI200 support.

Are the VFs that good? Does the TC work as well or nearly as well as Yihi TC does (for anyone that's used both)?

I ended up getting an IPV4 but still want to get a backup TC mod because I'm really loving TC way more than expected. I actually have a Mini VF-50 coming from China but I just kinda grabbed it because there was a good sale and I was debating just leaving it unopened and selling it. Should I give it a shot before doing so?

Anybody have any thoughts on the:
"SMY 50W Simeiyue 50W Mod APV w/ Temperature Control"
    http://www.cigabuy.com/authentic-smy-50w-simeiyue-50w-mod-apv-w-temperature-control-p-7559.html?dp=F0202

~<$40 (without shipping) SEEMS like an awesome deal on a TC mod. Then again I'd need to find a suitable tank and coils to use it.

I'll admit to not following the whole TC thing very closely but what Tanks are supported with TC coils?

(no more burned cotton/hits and having to toss a coil because of it is only a dream right now)

Guys check this out. IStick with temperature control and a max 40w output. Maybe this would be the most budget mod that comes with a "handy" size. With it's reputation I think this mod would be good for beginners going into TC mods.

May give this a shot and see how it performs. Although it is currently open for pre-orders only. Hehe

Took the dovpo to bits much as I could no easy solution to the moving screen but on the plus side it isn't going to damage anything so something, internally it's very clean no hot glue and all wiring is good and relatively well secured. I'm just going to have to accept the screen though I know many would not put up with it, for the cost it's good enough tc works well vaped a tank dry no issues cotton was unmarked as it should be at 200°C and the vape was consistent. My istick 50 has put me off the istick series won't be buying another and I like being able to just pop a new battery in and go again no being tethered to a charging cable, this dovpo will do me till I can get an sx mini at Xmas.
