Which telescoping PV?

GGTS has lots and lots of fans. I have had two, and, for me, the button placement is problematic. In fact, the button placement is why I opted not to get the EA mod. I also don't like the fact that, unless I can find a stealth cap (a nearly impossible task), I can't screw any of my 510 genesis atomizers on without what seems an unsafe collection of adapters. So, while I know I'm in the minority, the GG is not for me. My experience, my opinion. Please don't flame me for it.

Not going to flame at all. TBH, I have no interest in the collector tank either, that's why I purchased a Stealth telescope and top tube instead of a GGTS when Vassilis opened his new site. I freaking love it! Though I still miss my GGTB, it looked almost like a hybrid with a Cobra on top, you could hardly even see the seam and they were EXACTLY the same diameter. To me you just can't beat the comfort of a GG button once you get used to it. By far the most natural feeling position. Thumb and bottom buttons both require slightly unnatural positions for your hand, where as the GG, there are many different ways to hold and fire it. All are comfortable and you can choose the most natural position.

Though I must say, fitting a tank on top of a GGTS is now no longer a problem with Imeo's special new GGTS adaptor, though IMHO it should come free with every new GGTS now. I still prefer the smaller build and looks of the Stealth cap.

I have an EA on the way and two Gus Telescopics...so those.

I am probably going to put one of the gus's on the classies...only because I don't see the need for two.

The 69 looks nice but not nice enough for to chase down.

I don't like the look of the Roller, for the price they go for, I would need to like the look.

I just bought a Roller SS-M...so I am clearly full of crap

I may get chewed on by an EA fan for saying this, but even with the button in the same spot, the very stiff spring and rounded top can make the EA Mod's button downright painful to use after a while. For a GG clone it's not bad (though certainly no GG), but a great mod? I personally don't think so. And that was before I discovered that my new AC9 won't screw onto the 510 connector.

As far as your 510 problems on the GG... there's a new adapter Imeo built that works really well - I've got a couple of 'em here, and they sure beat daisy-chaining thread adapters. Not trying to sell you or anything, just figured I'd mention it. I went through the same thing with cheap adapters before, and it sucked quite a bit.

I'm just curious, how do you fire your EA (or GG, for that matter)? I have both an EA and a Stealth GGTS, and I prefer the EA button over the GG, but I palm-fire my mods rather than pinkie-fire them. I find the rounded EA button seats very nicely at the base of my palm and feels quote comfy, while the GG feels a bit sharp ... not a huge difference, mind you, but a bit. I recently converted my GG switch to magnets, which gives it a very light, smooth touch compared to the EA's more firm feel ... neither one better necessarily, just different. I love both these devices ...

I do tend to finger-fire it. Palm-firing is probably less painful, but I do find it does still tend to dig in a bit if I'm chain-vaping, though it's worse on some part of the hand than others.

On my GG's, on the other end, I don't feel a thing, especially after replacing the spring with magnets.

Ha, I'll give you that. I probly should've said best telescope design ever, but still, just my opinion. I based mine on 2 main points: 1. Super-T's warranty and reputation, and 2. the design is unlike any other traditional telescope at least that I've seen. 2 tubes that slide to collapse/expand rather that 3 that screw/unscrew. Add to that the possibilities of the extra goodies to come and imo that's what makes it the best.

I'm with you on that. The ELA is, in my opinion, the fist telescoping mod that doesn't look like a bunch of polished pipe fittings. I also like the fact that Dave has put some thought into giving a modular design that would, in the future, accept the "goodies" that Cjax mentioned.

In fact I agree you to the extent that I was willing to pay for preorder and play the waiting game...

That said, I'd still wouldn't mind putting my hands on a GUS G22 (non-telescoping).

You just need to add your own engraving. Also, you can get a telescope and a brass tube, the switches/tops interchange. The G22's have cooler looking switches though.

I bought an 18500 tube there and I'm happy. Slightest machine marks that I polished out. Aside from that, it looks great.

I didn't see any on the tube I bought but I was prepared to polish for the price and convenience.
