To be honest I'm not sure. My grommets look different from the ones pictured. The top lip of it is nowhere near as thick as it looks in the picture. Forgot to add that generally it's next day delivery even with the minimal postage charge, I've never paid for special express delivery. If ordered before lunchtime my orders have always been dispatched same day and delivered the next.
An old pic maybe? Does your vivi nova from them have the air hole down on the centre pin or is it on the knurled ring around the bottom of the tank? V2.5 has the airhole on the centre pin.

V2 or 2.5. I did an edit above but you posted at the same time. Yours sounds ok. I think they have the wrong picture up on that site.

Must just be an old pic then, they are doing themselves a disservice if so. Which version it is I have no complaints and use my five daily. I don't bother trimming the wicks as I did with one and noticed no difference.
I just don't seem to get on with the metal tubes. I got a replacement metal sleeve for one of my plastic tanks before the stv came out. This leaked like anything. Then tried the stv and had the same result. Have thought about using some plumbers tape round the threads, but decided against it as didn't want it reacting with juice.
