Which way to store the ego

I have always wondered and go out of my way to stand the ego with cart down to limit atty flooding but boy the stand so nice on the battery end. Will gravity make fluid run into the atty if they are stood battery down?

Yes, Cart down battery up. When vapor lessens, lay flat. When juice runs low before topping off, battery down cart up.

Yeah John, I used to do that when I first got my Egos. Would actually put them cart down in one of those 16 oz Dixie party cups. Seemed to reduce the flooding somewhat.

I don't need to do that anymore tho. I don't know if its because I switched to blue foam filler but I don't have the flooding problem anymore unless I way overfill the carts.

I find that 90% of time that gurgling sound is not flooding, but the condensation that forms in the cart. I'm having to pull the cart and blow thru it into a tissue to clear it out and that stops the gurgling for a while.

Now, I either lay them down in a large ashtray or on the table or just stand them on the battery end with no probs.

I use the blue foam also and by following my first post above, you should not have any problems with your flow or blowing the atty out.

I always sat my eGo battery-down without any problems. But then again I never used the carts, drip-tip or cartos for me.

My eGo always sits battery end down, and I haven't had any problems. I'm just using regular carts right now with plain old polyfil. I've only had one leak, and that was my fault for not putting the plug in right.
