I picked up another joyetech 510 atty so I could start dripping. I've noticed that, even at lower voltages it gets really hot on my twist. Now I'm wondering if my vivinovas innards are getting dangerously hot when I'm vaping at 4.4-4.8v on a 2.8ohm head. Anyway, as for the atomizer: is there something wrong, or am I doing something wrong? Have you guys ever got your vivinovas really hot? It doesn't feel too hot to the touch, but the atty gets scorching. Any thoughts?? Thanks!

Wish I knew. Just says joyetech. I'm assuming somewhere between 2-2.5, n it gets hot at pretty much every voltage.

There can be a number of reasons:
Not enough juice in the atty.
Flooded atty.
Very low resistance atty.
Atty needs cleaning.
Need to take a break and not chain hit the atty.

The atty will get warmer than a vivi nova. The juice and metal in the novas will act as a heat sink. But for atties, it just heats the tube that its in.

Attys will get warm, but if super hot then troubleshoot the problem.
