I got this recipe out of one of the old TFA recipe lists but just tried it recently... It is fantastic after 2 days! One of my new favorites! I started low, 10% ry4.
The tobacco Absolute I used was from MyFreedomSmokes, I mixed it down from 50% to about .05% (following delution instructions below) and added the % the recipe called for of that. Not sure if that is correct, but this juice came out fantastic!

Maybe I'm just tired or overthinking this, but for some reason I'm not understanding part of this.

Could you explain how the TA was diluted down 50%? Or more specifically, what did you dilute it down to 50% with? Then I add the PG, EM and TA already diluted, correct? My math sucks so to be clear, once I do that it will be a 5% solution that I add to the recipe, correct? I feel stupid for needing to ask when you spelled it all out but I want to be certain I'm doing it right.

On the aside, I just finished listening to a DIY show with Jeannie K and they said TA is so strong they've heard to use a toothpick to dip into TA with and then add that to a bottle of say, around 30ml!
They did say they were just getting into making tobacco mixes so are not up on how TA much and were only going by something another excellent DIYer said they did. But that's some strong stuff! O-O I do however prefer a more accurate method of mixing.

Thanks for your help and the recipe! I'm newish to DIY and am trying to learn as much as I possibly can when I'm not actually able to mix by studying everything I can find. And I would love to have a good RY4 on hand.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner, been busy

You are right, my math is off. It's 5% after cutting it further with pg and em.

I bought the TA from MFS already dilute to 50% in pg.
I took some of that 50% and cut it with 90%pg and 9%em.
The raw TA is a paste. The 50% mix from MFS makes it much more manageable. I like more accurate measuring than dipping a toothpick in and mix whatever sticks to the toothpick since most recipes use very little I mixed it way down. I will try adding some to some raw pg to see how it tastes at 2% of the pg mix... I'm thinking thatv2% may be too light to have it giving any flavor effect to the juice I have now, this should tell me
