I'm trying to like a thread to FB and when I click on the "like" button... the box flashes and disappears... I've tried multiple times. I've checked my FB page and it has not shown up. 
Who broke the Facebook button???

I have "like" issues but not with FB because i don't use facebook. The like button issues on posts is the same as yours except eventually it will stay. That is if it is clicked enough

signing out and clearing cookies (as per retired) cleared this up for me, at least 90% of the time

As I don't have a Facebook page (never have, never will) I can't test this.
Make sure that your ECF account is still associated with your Facebook page. Once you've checked that, log out and clear your cookies and cache. If the issue persists, generally it's attributable to something Facebook is doing on their end. If it continues past the 24 hour mark, give us a heads up here and we'll bump the issue up the chain to see if there's something going on with the servers.
Yes, the forum is still attached to my FB account.
The like thing I can clear up with a simple page refresh... but the FB like button issue I have not been able to correct.
