I did'nt even get on the forum yesterday so all this is new to me but I must say I'm very proud of Steve and all the people that showed up, being from Idaho there's no way I can make it to the next show down but my prayers and thoughts will be with all of you going, I wish the committee would visit this forum and read the wonderful stories here about how e-cigs have changed their lives, and see the amount of people useing them. Good luck next week.

The fact that they were surprised that people showed up and that they admitted that they needed more information before they voted makes me wonder how often these groups vote on stuff that they have no clue about!

We were asked NOT to vape and push any buttons. Most respected what people like Julie was trying to get accomplished and acted really professional and did NOT vape inside the building. We felt it was better to not piss them people off on that panel and have them push the bill to spite us all.
Yeah, prolly woulda been kind a stupid to do that in front of the people that have the power to send this thing to the House.
And whoever the "foriegn company's" lawyer was, he should be fired immediately!!! The guy was making thier case for them to pass the bill!!! Dude was ......ed to say the least. We woulda done better without him there and it sucked he made it look like he represented us!!! People who were there know what I'm talking about.
I am really heartened by the sense of community and advocacy that I see here. It's really inspiring. Thank you!
Well be prepared for the meeting next week. I wonder what information the committe and the lung association will gather in the next 5 days.
I'm not sure I understand what happened, are they simply going to vote next week? Or was there not enough information presented, such that will require the lung association to bring additional information? If there was a foreign lawyer there for some company, could an attorney be afforded to the vaporers?
