who cleans their brand new attys?

I would like to figure out a way to clean the brand new attys so i dont get that nasty taste the first day using it. How do you clean them and what do you use?

I blow out the primer into a papertowel (blow from battery thread end), and then add 3-4 drops to it to prime it with juice. I never taste the yucky primer fluid.

i dry burn them tell i get very little vapor from the primer, then add some juice and test it out....works good.

blowing out before may help before the dry burn...

I blow them out from both ends into a paper towel, then add a couple of drops of juice and go for it. On the first two or three puffs, I just pull them into my mouth, but I don't inhale them. The primer taste goes away pretty quickly. I don't wash my brand new attys in anything.

I soak in alcohol for about 15 minutes, dry the outside then blow out real good. Don't forget to rewet/prime with juice before using.....

If I'm being impatient, I'll blow them out, add juice and vape my head off. Since I have 15 in rotation now, I give them a soak in 91% Iso Alc for 10-15 minutes and let them dry overnight on the top fan of my computer.

That is the exact way I prep every new atty. Works like a charm.

yep i do , open a new one stick it in a pan and boil it for 5 mins, , dry , job done

This is what I do. I haven't tasted the primer fluid and am determined that I never will. LOL

I recommend both cleaning and removing the few strands of wicking material. Just search for 'how to remove your wick' on utube. To clean, I use a few drops of H2O2, then a few drops of VG or some juice, blowing it out each time, then do three or four short dry burns. Hopefully, the H2O2 will get rid of any factory contaminates. H2O2 converts to water under heat. I just use a few drops so it's easy to do.
