I Myself like vapingwithtwisted420. Does a lot of clones v. Authentic and gets to the point pretty quickly. Also, he doesn't censor himself.

And andria some of those flavors at steam cigs I got complete different flavors. The kahlua one I was tasting citrus... even mike thought I was weird.

I stopped watching Tripper when his review of Pipe Sauce's "Long Bottom Leaf" said it tasted like LIME??? Uhh, no it doesn't, it tastes like coffee, sweet tobacco, and a hint of choc and vanilla -- a real long way from LIME! I realize taste is subjective but those are WORLDS, UNIVERSES apart.

Plus he's a total space cadet. He looks like he needs some thyroid medication before his eyes pop completely out of his head.

Andria

 That was funny, thyroid medication! I totally agree, I cant really tolerate his personality either but I can see how some would enjoy the show.
Just like juices, reviewers are subjective. But between you and me, not that subjective :D

Not sure how that sentence ends... but just look at that face -- what a total gooberhead!

And could someone please tell me, how "sick" became synonymous with "good"??????? In NO! universe is "sick" anything good! I realize I'm showing my age here, but at least my generation's slang made SOME kind of sense -- "cool," "awesome," "neat," and just prior to my own generation, "groovy" -- which I think meant "in the groove" so therefore "cool".

Lol, his expression goes, "Sick as <the slang for mammary glands that starts with a T>"

I can understand "sick" being "good", similar to how "bad" is "good". (ie: That's one bad cat. or Cool it daddy-o, you know it's bad.)

Well... my boobies aren't sick at all, in fact for boobies on a 53 yr old, they're not too bad, if slightly gravity-afflicted. Nothing a good bra can't fix. :D

"Bad" I can understand; I spent my whole adolescence and young adulthood trying to be as bad as possible while staying out of jail, feeling that that made me "cool". But "sick"? That's just wrong. It reminds me of the Steve Martin bit about teaching your kids to talk wrong.

Just read this on the English StackExchange. My curiosity was piqued, I'm always interested in the origination of words.

I first heard the word "sick" being used as slang on the 1987 skateboarding video put out by Powell and Peralta entitled "The Search for Animal Chin." A skater did some cool trick or whatever, and a hardcore skateboarder onlooker said, "that's sick". We thought it was hilarious, and I have heard it used ever since, though mainly among skaters/surfers/snowboarders/druggies and the like.

It is my observation that the word not so much means "cool", but carries a connotation more extreme than just that. It is used to describe something that is unbelievable, unprecedented, or just plain mind-blowing.

Think the sick term started in the late 80's/early 90's. Don't know how it started.

Yeah... someone posted here about that too, said they got a citrus taste from Long Bottom Leaf, but it was someone in Australia who had necessarily bought it online -- I thought maybe there was a difference between store-bought and mail-order. Difference in steep-time maybe?

But buying it at Steam Cigs... that really is weird. There's nothing even slightly citrus about Long Bottom Leaf -- I didn't get that taste at the store, and although I was a bit surprised by the smokiness of the taste when I opened it at home, nothing citrus then either, and nothing citrus now after a couple months in the drawer -- I can't vape it much, with that 95% VG -- I've been trying to come up with a DIY high-PG version of it, with only middling success. Inawera Cappucino with a drop of Inawera Coffee tobacco comes the closest, but there's some note I can't quite replicate. They say it's a "malted" flavor so I was thinking of adding just a smidge of Malted Milk flavor.

I don't know Matt... is he at Steam Cigs? I haven't been in there since July, when I went to re-up my Oak Barrel Cider -- they were having that buy one get one 50% off sale, which is how/why I have the Long Bottom Leaf; I really do like the taste of it, but too much VG just suffocates me. I really don't know anyone's name, at Steam-Cigs; there's a youngish guy, at least one female, and an older guy with very long hair who's either english or aussie, not sure which to be honest. The youngish guy is the one who has usually waited on me, when I went in.

Since I'm not vaping Virginia anymore, I don't really have much use for the Oak Barrel Cider anymore -- I was mixing in about 6% of that, and 3% cinnamon redhot, with 91% Virginia, for the taste I prefer, and that kept the PG high enough for me. Need to find something else to mix that OBC with, that isn't tobacco-ish.

I just figured they wanted high VG for the cloud chasers, who seem to be the target audience at Steam Cigs. Didn't figure my preference for high-PG would matter to them one iota, since I'm definitely not a cloud chaser.

Matt is the owner. The young guy is Mike and the Englishman is Chris. All of them are awesome and very helpful. I stop in the every once in a while to pick up some deadly sin.

I like Todd's reviews the best; he is straight and to the point and goes over the things that I really want a reviewer to cover outside of just the selling points on the box. I feel that he gives an honest review, equally weighing the advantages as well as the deficiencies of the product.

PBusardo has a lot of good information but he just drones on for way too long for my taste. I think good reviews should be concise, and PBusardo's are usually 30-45 mins.

Rip Trippers has some of the best camera angles/shots to show you the up close and personal, but I find his approach kind of loud and annoying. Also, I don't feel that he covers the item in its entirety that well; it seems that if he decides he likes a product, he won't really go into the things that may not be so good about it.

Phil Busardo (TasteYourJuice.com) is my absolute favorite. He does run a little long winded but he has a whole section of his video called "thumbs up / thumbs down" which more briefly lists all of the pros and cons of any item he is reviewing..so for you TL;DR folks, just fast forward the video to the last 5 minutes and you'll get the highlights. :) If you're about to make a big purchase or are curious about how a device works at all, I would say you will probably be compelled to watch the full video anyways.

He's entertaining and super-technical about his reviews, which is what appeals to me most.
