Me, me, me! 72.5 hours!!!!!

Although I am NOT happy about opening the season in Fenway and closing it in Fenway

I think you can tell from my "handle" and my displeasure with Fenway who it is I root for.

Since the Phills didn't keep Lee to pair him with Halladay I guess you got a shot of seeing your boys in the Series.

Since my boys gave up two of their clutchest hitters I don't anticipate a return trip to the WS.

I'm ready for baseball season. I'm a Cards fan and my roommate is a Cubs fan. Needless to say, we have fun razzing each other throughout the season. At least I usually get the last laugh when the Cards make it into the post season, hehe. Poor Cubs...

I'm horrible at catching all the games. I just keep track of scores until post season.

I'm so stoked. April 5th, Rockies @ Brewers. Rockies are my favorite team, I want to see them go to the World Series again (and not get swamped).

I intend to catch every single game of the season, huzzah for Tivo.
No. Not me. I've gotten excited in the past only to be DISAPPOINTED!

Yankee fan all my life, won't change now. I am from the days of the Joe D and Mikey Mantle............Love em.....................

 Fan since I was 10 years old (1982) so I struggled through the worst of the worst so I deserved the late 90s. :D

Yeah, I was a bit confused about the ESPN prediction as well.

Still can't see any NL team beating the Phillies and if the Mariners make the playoffs how do you beat Lee and King Felix in a short series?

@Elendil: the fact Pinella hasn't had a stroke or a heart attack yet is a miracle.

@Houdini: LOVE Scioscia and you're lucky you've got arguably the best manager in BB as this year you're gonna need him. ;)

No Lackey, No Figgins - what's going on with Shields?

ESPN is actually predicting Rockies over the Yanks in the WS

There's no way the Rockies could beat the Yankees (and certainly not the Red Sox, who I think might make it to the WS this year) in a seven-game series.

By the way, Sabbathia will probably win tomorrow, but games 2 and 3 could very easily be won by Lester and Lackey.

Man, it's gonna suck watching the Sox lose on opening day against the Yankees, of all teams. My prediction: NYY 3 BOS 1
But I'll be rooting for them 'til the end of the ninth.

I don't pay enough attention to the NL to totally know and didn't read the article - just saw the headline.

I wouldn't place any bets on CC for Sunday night because:

A) Sabbathia is not know for his quick starts and his last few spring starts were garbage.

B) Yanks record on Sunday night BB is ABYSMAL

That being said CC did own the Sox last year but so did Posada and Matsui and Matsui is gone and Posada may not play.

I'm a bit undecided

If Big Papi can suck for the first few months of the season again this year, I'll take it ;)
