Uhmm, not really, they're efest who has a notorious reputation of overstating battery specs.
All they do is put their fancy wrap on other manufactures cells, some of those cells are lower quality 2nd or 3rd bin.

But, depending what cell is actually underneath the wrap they could be okay for your intended use.

I thought Liion was a reputable company? I figured I should stay away from IMR after that fiasco

That was my first thought too but if it is a 26650 it's on the mooch chart. Looks too short to be an 18650.

You still have to do your homework on batteries, just because a 'reputable' vendor sells them.....
I'm not going to say in public what I think of a certain few vendors..

In a low amp demand device such as your zmax they'll be fine.

Thanks, Elvis. In the future I won't buy any batteries before consulting the chart

Imren is another that has a reputation of overstating battery specs, they too wrap other manufactures cells with their wrap.

ChelsB, both should work fine in low amp demand devices.
I aint mad atcha gal, but I have given you the link multiple times to what I consider one of the best sources of battery's around.

I have a couple Imren batteries my husband bought (despite being told Sony, Samsung or LG) and they work fine for my use and don't worry me. I don't push my vaping to any upper limits though.

When there's a choice between and 18650 button top and a flat top, which is best?

It seems to me that most manufacturers build their mods for flat top cells. I am unaware of any difference between 2 cells of the same make and model where one has a button top and the other has a flat top, but for versatility in multiple mods I would go with flat tops.

You can stuff a button top in many power devices & have it work.
The slight extra length of the added button top can cause over compression of the spring(s), difficulty installing / removing battery and in devices where the positive end contacts the input on the chip it can cause the chip to be pushed out of place over time.
Also makes a diffence on which model / series Hana you have & clone vs authentic.

I use button top in my provari's & one old reo, everything else flattop.

It's the one mod and it's authentic. I did have a very hard time getting the button top in there
