Alot of flavor that have "color" contain natural essance, most if not all that are colorless are artificial. So it is a fine line between taste and color.
Had a long talk with Linda from perfumer apprentice. Have a sample blueberry from her that is colorless and is all artificial.
Dan

It probably tastes really artificial too huh? I can understand natural coloring, but it's pretty obvious when they ADD color to it. I just don't see the point.

I can understand natural coloring, but it's pretty obvious when they go and ADD extra coloring to it. I just don't see the point in it.

I only have problems with color when it's from dye.

I would say it's like a cherry off a tree. Every time I vape it or the strawberry from them I always get a craving for the real fruit. Also if you try it from Liberty Flights they have free shipping until Monday I believe.

Ahh, good to know. I hate artificial flavorings. Probably the only one I DO like it watermelon. Haven't vaped it yet, but as a kid, it was my favorite gum and I still love the Jolley ranchers.

I agree that is what I discussed with Linda, and she agreed not to add any coloring if it did not already come from the essance of the flavor itself. So no added artificial coloring in her stuff.

Ok, I just ordered 6 flavors from Linda. One flavor I already have from another vendor, but it's not quite what I want so...and like you said, for her prices, you can't beat it to try them out. I ended up getting apple, cinnamon, graham cracker, black cherry, almond amaretto, and honey.

Earlier, I ordered some stuff from Capella's too because I've heard so many people say they taste "natural". Spent a lot more there though since their bottles are so big, hope they're really good!!

I can see I'm going to have to rearrange all my stuff already...time to expand to the big shelves LOL!

Couldn't you use actual cherry juice and reduce it to a concentrate?

Cherries have a decent amount of sugar in them, plus a number of other things, like pectin, that would be very bad for your atomizer. If you just reduce it, you'll just be boiling some of the water off, and therefore concentrating all of the bad stuff into a gel/paste that would probably clog you up almost instantly.

I received my flavors from Perfumer Apprentice yesterday. All the flavors are very clean tasteing no chemical taste. The black cherry tastes just like black cherry but if I had sweetener I think that would help. The tangerine is also very good nice citrus taste. I am very new to diy and as all the flavors are very good and taste like they are suppose too.

Everyone is scared of mine too LOL! Yes, he is a mix. I'm going to totally derail my own thread here...but I'm assuming that's ok since it is MY thread right?? LOL!

We aren't 100% sure of his mother, since we adopted her when she was about 3 or 4, she's some sort of Jack Russell or Fox Terrier mix. Accidentally, she came into contact with my uncles dog, who he got from a neighbor. One neighbor had a pure bred Black Lab, one had a pure bred Sheltie. Sheltie got loose..knocked up the Lab and...out came Oreo's dad...who oddly enough was a yellow Lab (they can throw any color). Then comes Oreo, who is black LOL! And yes, his mother got fixed after that accident. :) Here he is with his mother...both of them trying to squeeze their big butts into ONE bed...not like they don't have anywhere else to lay LOL!

and here is mom and dad together

Oreo is 6 years old now, and back when they were coming out with all the "designer" dog breeds, we had to come up with one for him. Since he's Lab/Sheltie/Jack Russell...we called him our Labshejack. Thought I was the only one who had one, but maybe you do too! LOL!

Sorry for derailing your thread once again, but I could not resist.

:oops:This might be an embarrassing picture, but dawgcrazy, your dog reminded me of my beagle-terrier mix named Bagel. She passed away last year and after seeing your pictures I actually got a little teary eyed.

EDIT: On the brighter side of things, Bagel lived a long, happy life of 18 yrs; a trait which beagles seem to exhibit.

We adopted her when she was 1-2 years old so I'm not sure what breed of terrier exactly. She too was the epitomy of lapdoggedness. :p

Oh yeah, and to semi-add to the topic at hand, I don't vape any cherry flavors...umm but maybe I'm weird in that I really love Luden's coughdrop cherry flavor.:thumb:
