I love perfumers apprentice's black cherry, I just add either some cotton candy to sweeten it or bavarian cream to warm it up, kinda like cherry ice cream :) Or use it as is, but I've been seriously into making flavor combos lately, lol.

You can try adding some of the "sweet" flavors if your cherries ones are too bitter or tart. Like marshmallow, Cotton Candy (aka ethyl maltol). But I would try these out in 0 nic tiny batches.

I actually just got the PA black cherry in the mail yesterday. It smells kind of cough syrupy, but I haven't mixed it up yet, so my opinion could totally change! Has anyone tried Faerie's Finest cherry flavors?

PA's Black Cherry is a fickle creature, it tastes like cough syrup if you add too much and tastes too artificial if you use too little. It's definitely great for mixing though. Haven't tried any FF flavors.

Agreed! My very first batch of DIY was with PA's black cherry and I put waaay too much in, gave it a very chemical taste. I learned to add a little and let it sit overnight or at least a good 6 hours before deciding if I needed more.

(I didn't read the whole thread, so sorry if this is a repeat!)

OnestopDIYshop has a Black Cherry also. IMHO it tastes VERY realistic. I was amazed at the few flavors I tried in their new line of "Professional Flavors" You might want to give them a try. Very reasonably priced and always extra goodies in every order :D
