Well I have found this morning that when things are working well someone comes along and stops it from working well. What was the purpose of making the images that work fine everywhere else and used to work on ecf stop working? Or are images no longer an accepted practice on ecf?

Wow, it looks like they took away the whole toolbar, for links, bold, italic, text color, etc etc etc.. Then the smiley icons are gone from the bottom...

I know. What's wierd is it used to work so good and for the life of me I can't figure out why they would intentionally mess it up like this unless it costs too much money to post images but I don't think it would cost any more. Your guess is as good as mine.
I also can't figure out why they put the image links button there if it doesn't work.

if I go to the bottom and select VB4 main
I get a ugly but functional interface

Give ECF Admin coders a bit of time folks They always come up trumps & work their socks off getting any new updates to work for everyone. I take my hat off to all of them.

there is an update in progress and things will smooth out. in the meanwhile, help yourself and do your own image brackets. for example, at pre-vets we are working on beastie boys, the theme requested by our next upcoming vet. same with smilies - by now most of us should be able to just type them 
As the lovely Tibs says, there are usually easy workarounds
Lol, if anyone wants a complete contrast to how well this amazing forum works & is updated to help everyone, just take a look at the pathetic community forum platform that eBay has been using for over a year! Talk about user unfriendly & the few updates they have made aren't always cross browser compatible
There really is no comparison, even though eBay most likely have billions at their disposal to get things right, they don't. On the other hand - ECF listen & care about making everything user friendly as possible.

I'm using photobucket and imageshack and the largest I can get is this. Here is a pic I posted yesterday with no problems. Oh now it comes in on this thread. Okay I figured it out I have to uncheck the image from local box for it to get big. Thank you for helping tiburonfirst .

Well after my initial complaining (an old guy thing) I feel it only right to say after I get used to using this new system I'm sure I'll like it better. I do see it has many added options the old one didn't have which is a good thing. It's just going to take becoming accustomed but hey I had trouble answering my daughters cell phone, at night while driving, the first time I used it. Now if I can get my printer to load paper right I'll be a happy man.
i'm sure it'll all work out, lol - as soon as i find a way to cancel those incoming 'like' notifications!!!!!
That host was compromised and was serving malware, so Roly blocked it some time back...

We just found out the Likes issue is a bug in the latest combination of software we're using, I'm going to put in a support request for them to create a patch to fix it.
Okay, I need a new quit banner then. Any suggestions for one without malware cooties?
