I started out with V2 ecigs because my pops who was a smoker for 30+ years used greensmoke and was able to quit almost right away. I bought the v2 ecigs because they had a very good deal with discount for their starter kit. Well after about a week I went right back to smoking real cigs because the v2 ecig's just didn't work for me. It wasn't until a friend at work introduced me to vaping and I've never looked back (to real cigs that is), and now its been a month since I've smoke a real cig........

The stick/cartridge type ecig's work for some though since my pops is still using them and hes been smoke free for 4 months now.

A few years back I started with a vEppo510 & Blu. Then upgraded to a Joye510 Penstyle. Ended up relapsing on analogs.

Now I'm back vaping, and WOW things have come so far! I picked up an eGo kit with CE-4 Clearomizers, which was fine but quickly wanted to upgrade. I PIF'ed the eGo and CE-4's, and now I vape with an EVOD (which I LOVE), an eSmart (good back up), and my recent addition a K100 Mod (just because I was curious and it looked cool. I like it.)

Happy Vaping :vapor:

Started on an 808 cigalike myself, just recently donated it to someone on here who needed a reliable cigalike setup to tide them over after their gear packed up on them, and am finding out how much I still miss having a good out-and-about PV. Got my custom 5v mod for my desk but can't really walk down the street with it..and frankly the cigalikes kept me off analogs just fine so I still see little to no reason to upgrade to an eGo or APV at this point, I'm just using 808-threaded clearos with DIY liquids and haven't had a relapse yet in six weeks.

Yep. Well actually I started with a NJoy disposable because it was a free trial, i work in a gas station so they wanted a non cig smoker to promote it (being an avid clove smoker they chose me). Bought a Blu kit on a half off sale to see if i could handle it and attempt a diy clove.

Joined the forums and got me a vv spinner and gave my blu kit to my mother-in-law. And still working on DIY juices.

I keep over-doing things I like, making it harder to move on.
Started with a 510 kit and liked it - so I collected like ten 510 batteries which I occasionally use...cause I have them.
Then I moved to Ego's and I have about a half dozen of those, that I use with EVODs and T3's, but I also have a large stash of the cartomizers I found best initially, so I'll pop those on sometimes too.
Next will clearly be something VV, but haven't decided if I should skip past the Spinner/Twist kind of thing and go for at least a VAMO or a ZMax. Or maybe just keep vaping what I've got til they start to die, and then bump to a Provari. I probably don't have the patience for that:facepalm:

I started with the Finiti recharcable pack. Had it for one day than went and bought an Ego starter kit but upgraded to the vV battery. Bought a couple different juices to try. It's only been three days but I haven't had a analog since. I'm already curious about the provari, but it seems a little confusing. My Ego seems to work good for now, but I know it won't be long until I upgrade. Wifey says I'm obsessive like that. Lol. I'm just happy to not be smoking analogs anymore. Can't wait for my tastebuds to return

I started with the Blu kit a couple years ago and hated it. No th, weak vapor and terrible battery life. eventually I went back to analogs. a few weeks ago I decided to try vaping out again and did a little research first. now I have a KGO vv mega 1100mah battery, several cargo tanks, a couple kanger pro tanks and a reasonably large collection of ejuice. Haven't looked back!

My progression time-line:

August 2011] fuma (cig alike, 808 something-or-other POS), prefilled cartomizers
August- September 2011] Go-go, blank cartomizers and carto tanks, a couple of clearos (didn't like clearos I tried), juice refills, DIY juice
? 2012] Vmod-XL, atomizers and cartomizers (didn't like, sold it)
January- June 2012] provari, mostly carto tanks, vivi nova (don't love it), protank (pretty nice, but still prefer carto tanks)
April 2013] Vamo, mostly carto tanks
July 2013] learned to rebuild protank coils and love that vape so far, these are growing on me.
July 2013] bought a AGA rba and a terminator tt, but haven't attempted to build either yet.

Dates are approximate, lol.

I knew about the tech out there but tried a blu and njoy first to see if it would work for me. It was an instant yes. I figured if the disposables were the worst vape I was going to have then the future was bright.

I bought volt kits for me and my wife. I knew going in I would upgrade but my wife still loves her volt. She loves the stealth of it. I have an 1100mah vv/evod setup that is my workhorse but I still use my volt on a regular basis when I don't feel like carrying the bigger rig. Volts are a good vape for a small package. Vamo is next in line for me but I'm in no rush. My vv setup is quite satisfying.

We all started with something low cost until we decided we liked vaping. Then, ECF turned us on to all the options. Anything VV voltage with an 18650 battery is good these days. If you don't want to spend the money for a Provari there are lots of good mods under $100 ... many much less than that.

Here's a good mod database with pictures and specs that is regularly updated. You can click the Browse by Features option and search for the features you want to have.

I quit on Jan 17th of this year due to a surgery. On Jan 23rd the urge to smoke became almost unbearable so I went to my local 7Eleven and bought an Njoy King disposable. It lasted all but 2 days before I had to buy another. After probably 4 of these I figured there had to be something better. So I bought an Eon Smoke kit with rechargeable batteries and prefilled carts that could be bought separately. Neither were great but kept me from smoking. After doing some research I ordered a Halo G6 kit. The difference between the cheap stuff I bought at the convenience stores and the Halo kit was like night and day. I used my Halo kit for a few weeks before learning about what else is out there. So 6 months into my vaping experience I've had plenty of twists and spinners, every clearo under the sun, I now have 10 mods both regulated and mechanical, and I can build a decent coil. I'll use my Igo-L and other drippers pretty often but I've found my most reliable and easy to setup vape with carto tanks. I have a couple of genesis style attys but its just too much work involved for me.

started with and Njoy disposable. got frustrated with the price and how long it lasts. i quit for a few months. started again on the blue starter kit a week ago. it kept me analog free for a week. started getting frustrated with the battery and cartrige life. started researching in this forum and quickly got excited and wanted to upgrade. got my new setup in the mail yesterday. Kangertech Protank clearomizer and a 900mAh eG0 c twist variable voltage battery. i couldnt be happier. vape on
