I measured out my 1010 diagonally and it may fit that way. But like you said, it may look kinda funky since the foam precuts are square. I looked up the specs and I think the 1020 will work fine. Even the 1015 may work since the overall shape is more rectangular.

Path, you've done your homework. Thanks for being so helpful. Like I said, If it doesnt look like it'll fit once I get it, I'll echange it for the 1015. I'm thinking the smaller the better for carrying purposes. Since it is a 18650 bat, I wont need any extras besides the one in the body.
No problem at all.....that's what we're here for. Just an FYI, I looked it up on the Pelican site and there is no foam insert for the 1015. Let us know how it all works out for you. I'm actually flying out to Chicago tomorrow morning, and all I'm bringing is my Pelican 1040 setup. It's usually enough to last me on my weekend trips.
Well Path, you were right. The 1010 is too small for the P18. I could fit it in there(that's what she said) but it wouldn't look right. I did however make good use of the case. Oh and I believe they do make 1015 foam, it's just not on their website yet. I saw it online somewhere.

Right now I only have the P10 and P16, and I use 3 of the Pelican cases for them. I have a few other Pelican cases that I use for my photography gear. I have two 1010s (one for each PV) for the days that I decide to only take one of them with me. The 1040 is reserved for weekend trips; I have it set up to hold the P10, P16, five 10440 batts, four 16340 batts, and 16 cartos (I left enough room to expand that to 32 cartos).
The P10 is perfect for stealth vaping because of its size, but I only get about 2 hours with the IMRs. The P16 IMO is the best compromise of size and battery life. I get around 4 hours from the 16340 IMRs and close to 6 hours from the CR123s; I prefer the IMRs though. I plan on picking up a P18 soon, but I'm waiting for David to be less busy so that he can accommodate for some of the special requests that I have. I also want a Shockwave when he releases it, but that won't be for a few months.

It really depends on how long you plan on leaving the house.
I bought a leather women's zipper wallet for day to day toot toting.
It holds about 5 batteries, 10 carts, about 5 3ml juice bottles, and a few USB chargers.
I rarely carry that much with me, but I could.

Dude, Path, look what I stumbled upon. This might actually work and it's only $12 on Amazon. Let me know what you think. Again, this is for the P18 and I might be able to leave it fully assembled.
That looks pretty cool. Similar style as the Pelican case. A few of the guys in the SuperT section that have pics of their Precises in leather cigar cases, but I've always been partial to the industrial look. I'm pretty sure that your P18 will fit in there fully assembled and maybe put some juice bottles in the other cigar well.
after some research, i purchased my first e-cig kit from SmokeStik which came with their hardcase. I wanted a small case, and didn't think i'd need a PCC. I'm not at the point yet where I feel I need to carry more than 2 batteries and 3 cartomizers. It works well for me.
I have been using my Stay Puft caffeinated marshmallows box. I'm going to add little pouch attachments and a nice lining soon. Should work out well.

Had to go look them up.... never heard of them but might need to buy them just for the box.... much nicer than my ziploc sandwich bag.....
Be careful! My box came in moldy, as did the replacement box. I am calling it even though, because I now have 2 boxes that are awesome.
I'm ready for floods, tornados, snowstorms, earthquakes. I do go to extremes. If I wouldn't have a mod to vape I would buy or borrow tobacco and use it. Don't want to do that.
So my goal is to find or make cases for mods. It's one thing to lose or break a starter ecig or even a ego. It's totally different when you lose or break an expensive mod. I like to be outdoors and I was in the military so that's why I keep thinking about protection. I have lost or broken endless things when moving to a new duty station or even worse, when I've been on deployments. Better to spend a few bucks now as opposed to having to buy your favorite mod over again.
