Alright, 2 weeks ago I got my first vaping experience. I got the volt 78mm's. Within a week, I decided I needed...uhmmm..."more"...so I poked around, did some reading, got some advice here. Finally I decided to start my progress with an eGo. It was a very tough choice as to which eGo, but ultimately I went with a joyetech 650 pt. Why the pt? Well, I figured as a first device, since I was only buying one battery, that the pt just made more sense, and would be an awesome backup in the future, and a great gift to a convert to get them started when I no longer need it. So, here I am, a week and a half into it, and I want to try a new device. It's not that I'm not happy with my current stuff, the ego is AWESOME and my volts are perfect for stealth and backups, but I am really interested in vv. So, my question to you fine people of the ECF union....what is the best vv device for the best price? I am aware that 2 weeks after I get it I will be looking at other devices, but thats just me. Before, I collected guitars and other musical gear, since I quit my band, I need something else to collect and since I outgrew pokemon a looooong time ago......well, yeah.....you get it I think. ;)

I know some day I may eat these words, but I simply can't see spending that much on a pvd. o_O No disrespect and I don't mean to knock anyone who does, it's just that I'm a poor southern boy and all that. :) Really though, I'm expecting my purchase to be a twist or a spinner, or something very similar. Always open to suggestions though, I honestly have very little knowledge of what's availible.

Depending on your budget a Twist would be good, a ProVari nice but rather common, or you could go with a Saber Touch VV and customize it just for you. Another choice would be a Mod that uses a Kick. You slao need to consider battery size, from then mods that use a 14500 that may go through a couple batteries a day up to a monster 26650 battery like the BAM that will last several days of hard vaping.

The mods I have mentioned I own and I like all of them. Having said that I would sell my ProVari before I sold my VV Saber and I really like the BAM with a Kick in it as well. The eGo Twist is very handy on the low end of the price scale.

I like the 650mah eGo Twists just fine, but if I wanted to upgrade, I'd probably get a VAMO. The link is only for quick reference, as they are sold at many places other than that one.

There are other similar APVs out there with a reasonable cost, but the VAMO looks to be quite versatile compared to many of those others.

Personally, the longer I have vaped, the pickier I seem to get with my device. I've shoved a lot of equipment into my closet as 'backups'. A somewhat scary amount. ;) When I decide to upgrade, I will probably build my own optionally-bottom-feeding, variable wattage box mod based upon something like the Evolv DNA20 board.

Sabers for me too. :toast:

I myself would much rather spend a chunk of change for something really solid once, rather than buying cheaper stuff over and over again, but not everybody feels that way. Some people like having new colors and styles all the time, and I can see how that might be fun as well.

Both strategies can work, I'm sure, so long as you realize that a battery that costs 25 bucks is actually not meant to last forever.
