Im looking for one that you can change the voltage without changing batteries. I like the Provari, but I need to see if there are any other ones out there.

The other one with a good reputation is the Darwin. (Not that there aren't others, but these seem to be the two big ones.) Research it, definitely... It has some interesting features. I was at a point where I couldn't/didn't want to buy both, and I settled on the ProVari because it appeared to be a bit better built. Keep in mind, that's my perception, and I've never held a Darwin... I'm happy with the ProVari, so I'm not interested in replacing it or adding the Darwin to my collection.

I AM, however, keeping an eye on the Pulse that's coming out. It was a long time in design and production, due to some design issues and to some personal/business issues among the designers/builders, but it's finally about to come to market. It's coming in at $300, though.

I'm waiting to see what people think of it. With Cisco off the project, I'm not sure it will be all it could have been. But, it's worth keeping it in the back of your mind as you make your decision...

I understand that with the provari you can check atty and battery life as well as dial in your voltage (way cool)..But, can you only use one kind of atty with it or any kind, as in a 510 , 801 etc?..Or does it have adapters for diff attys?..And last but not least, Do you have to get an adapter/connector to use a liquinator tank with it?... Ha, lots of questions...But, hubby just asked if he could have one of my mods..He's never even shown any interest...I was like ohhhh sure! = I gotta buy me another mod(provari) to replace it..:: doing the happy dance lol...Thanks for any info (smile)

no troubles. just runs them at the "safest" and highest voltage. i have some dual coils from ikenvape and he says to run them at 3.XX-4.3v or something. my provari runs it at 4.2v no errors. besides if i went above that i think it would taste burnt.

goodprophets has adapters for like $1.50. no adapter needed for the 510 liquinator. the SS version of the liquinator just released a few days ago!

The provari is sweet, but when i bought my first VV, I had to go with Darwin. The battery is outstanding, every single atty/carto I've ever tried has been amazing on it, and it will comfortably last 2 days of heavy vaping for me over 5v. I had a HV 801 on this morning vaping chocolate brownie at 7.6v lol..

If you like the tube mod style, and you prefer removable batteries, the provari is amazing. If your willing to change it up and try the next generation of VV, I can't recomend the Darwin enough!

I view it like this! I smoked cigs for several decades. If I could save the $$$ I spent in any few months, I could/should afford any PV I desired. Speaking personally, I do not always have the excess $$$ of a few months of smoking at hand at any given time. I did the homework, saved up, and am happy with the choices I made so far.

Any good device will save you money in the long run. It is up to us to research and decide which form factor, battery life, maintenance realities work for our lifestyle. Get one for work, one for home, a backup, a backup of the backup....

The most important thing, is that all of us here are not smoking cigs as much, or not at all. Every cig not smoked is a step to a better life.

But, back on topic, I think that variable (volts/watts) will always give a better and more varied experience than any fixed voltage.

I have a 3.7v device and a five volt device...wanted to get a 6v device or a VV device but can't decide..it was between the APEX ULTRAMAX or the PROVARI..can't really decide which is worth the buy..need some insight on what other people think..

So I think that your initial question has been answered. Apex/provari? The majority said provari. I have yet to read a poster choose the apex > provari.

That being said...what else do you want to know?
