"You stopped vaping for a month, still have rash and roseatia, but PG is the cause - something that is metabolised in hours and the metabolites excreted in a day or a day and change?"

Yes, but I don't have rosacea, nothing on my face at all. I know how fast it metabolizes and that is puzzling to me also. Within in an hour of vaping PG I will start itching. This didn't even start until 8 months or so in and I made no other changes at that time as to soaps or detergents etc.

"What does your physician and/or dermatologist attribute that to?"

I didn't seek medical attention and don't feel this is life threatening. I'm one of those people that you just can't get to go to a doctor, I have never been sick a day in my life, so other than child birth no doctors for me. If it hadn't started to subside I would have been forced to seek help.

Jeffree this started slowly and I choose to ignore it. I too had small itchy bumps on my scalp in the beginning but it would go away and I didn't realize what was happening. Nothing on my face so I didn't take it seriously. I was using 18mg also and in vape heaven.
I didn't think at the time that I would go back to cigs, but I did. I don't intend to give up vaping either and hope for VG to improve in the future, even a blend VG/PG is very good if you can tolerate it.
I have just tried the VG chocolate cartos ( they say chocolate milk on the box) and they are good, I bought the 30ml in VG chocolate and banana nobacco juices listed on the site under premium juices, haven't tried them yet. I will get back to you when I have tried more of the cartos I ordered 6 or 7 flavors. Keep drinking a lot of water, I think that is very helpful. Good luck and happy vaping

to everyone else

benadryl + nicotine never bother me, I was a 2 pack a day smoker and nicotine never made me tired ... if anything it kept me up

I use Now brand VG bought in a health food store, I am now trying to thin it with a few drops of distilled water to make it more carto friendly

Your right Kimmy it may be the flavorings. I usually don't have any symptoms of any illness or allergy. This can be induced repeatedly by vaping PG based ejuice, so I know it has to do with that. I have started using non PG soaps and shampoos etc. now in an effort to cut down my exposure.

Hopefully I will be able to tolerate a small amount of PG eventually.

V4L is the only vendor I know of that even offers VG cartos. I can't believe how well you take care of all of us, a big THANK YOU from me to Steve and the gang.

Sher, have you ever tried unflavored juices? Start with 100% VG, no flavorings. If that works, you may try adding some PG to that juice, slowly, see what happens. I don't want to go too deep into other vendors' e-liquids on V4L subforum (sorry, V4L guys and Val), but do your research.

V4L doesn't carry 100% VG unflavored juices, do they?

Know what really did it for me, Sher? A few nights ago, I turned on my wife's hi-intensity light and magnifying mirror thingy (you know what I mean), and I saw that half a dozen little zits and some minor irritation formed a kind of ring around my mouth, from chin to upper lip. That was the moment I thought my body may be fighting the vaping in small ways, right near the point of contact, and that I need to find out more. The good news for me is that the irritation's still minor, so there's no rush. Slow and easy. Maybe it's the PG. Maybe it's certain flavs. Or maybe just past smoking residual. I'm on a mission!

I'm only at 5 weeks of vaping.

I mix my own juice using 20% VG from a health food store. The health food store VG is much thicker than anything I've received from a supplier, and I have made all VG juices (not counting the PG in the flavouring). With the all VG juices using the health store VG, I dilute with vodka, say 80%vg/20% vodka.

All VG juices I've purchased from suppliers, be they flavoured or unflavoured, have been vapable right out of the bottle.

As to acne, I don't what'll happen at three months, but weeks 2-3 I did break out some adolescent style acne. I had no idea what was going on. I wasn't eating more sugar or sweets, if anything I was eating much less because I vape my desserts now. I love donuts, and, thinking on it, I quit those about the same time I quite analogs. Nice. Quit smoking and lose weight. Astounding. Anyway, reading a bunch of forums, a lot of folks broke out in acne at varying times. My acne's gone. If more crops up in a couple of months, I'll let you know.

I like your thinking Jeffree, I'm on a mission also.

I am glad you and your wife are aware of the problem and doing something about it before it gets out of hand like mine did, you may just save your vaping. If you just add VG now to your existing cartos you may be ok and you can still enjoy your CMF. Drinking a lot of water may also dilute it for you. Keep up the good work, being aware is half the battle.
