Dr Vapor's vids were my favorite but I haven't seen him put out a new one in a long time, but still his vids are great for someone just starting out. Igetcha69 is really good for getting an honest overview of pretty much everything on the market. Grimmgreen is just too cute to miss, gotta love him, but I've come to learn over time that I'm not necessarily going to like juices or pvs the same as he does, most likely a generational thing, but I gobble up his videos as soon as each one comes out. QCAssociates, Dave leggomyears is a mod builder who knows his stuff and a great guy, so I definitely watch him. Cozzcon I really like for his laid-back "this is exactly what I think about this" approach. Oh man, too many to mention, like 1972darcymarkwell, usagold101, mainlyvapor, I know I'm going to miss some of my favs, sorry.

In my videos, my aim is to help new vapers figure out how to choose a decent pv and not get ripped off, show vapers how to build mods and also if I buy a new pv, win one in a contest, or borrow one to try, what I really think of it, the good, the bad, the safety, etc. I do not work for any e-cig company or have any ties at all with any e-cig company or vendor, matter of fact, I'm a retired engineer.

Now for the first time, an e-cig company has asked me to try one of their e-cigs and do a review on it and I've accepted with the caveat that I will say up front that I was given it to review, I will use it as my only pv for at least a week, and then on my video review I will get to say whatever I want, good or bad, and they enthusiastically agreed. I'm okay with that and I think my viewers will be too.

Hey stop talking about me!!

Ha! All I can say is THANK YOU SO MUCH to anyone who mentioned my name in this thread, ESPECIALLY since I've been doing this for such a short amount of time.

When I set out to do this, I wanted to be a little different. To give you an honest opinion of what I was reviewing and if it sucked... to say so, unlike the American Idol Judges this year! I wanted to provide you with some good detailed information, and make you laugh or at least smile in the process.

Reviews are tough to do in general. Juice reviews are tough because you're reviewing based on your tastes so I try to say "taste is subjective" in every review I do. Hell, there are people out there who like CRAB JUICE!!

Device reviews are the same. I've got a Giantomizer review thread out there. This was before I started doing video reviews. It's fun to read the posts:

Post 1 - I love it.
Post 2 - I hate it.
Post 3 - I love it.
Post 4 - I hate it.

And it goes on and on. People like what they like and that's pretty much it. I try to provide you with information on devices from my perspective that would allow you to make your own educated choice.

The positive comments I've read on my reviews have been amazing and I can't thank you enough! I try to respond to EVERY comment that is left. Both here, on the other forums, and on YouTube.

To answer a previous post, I've paid for 90% of everything I've reviewed. Being honest and raw isn't going to get vendors to send me piles of free stuff, in fact it would make most vendors a little hesitant to send anything (I've actually heard this from some vendors). That's not to say I wouldn't accept any device, juice, or accessory for the purpose of review. HOWEVER...

Whether I pay for something or I get it for free doesn't matter. I'm going to tell you what I think about it. If it has issues, I'm going to tell you. If I didn't, it would make the review a useless waste of your time to watch.

So why do I do it? Because it does take a fair amount of time.

1 - I love vaping. PERIOD. It got me off cigarettes. My last analog was on July 7th, 2009. I haven't had another since. My breath has come back, my sense of smell has come back, my taste has come back. That first breath of the morning isn't riddled in pain. I feel better. I don't get sick as much. My car, my clothes, and I don't stink like cigarettes anymore. If I can help others experience the same things... GREAT!

2 - I'm an entertainer at heart and I love to make people laugh.

3 - NO KIDS! Ha! I've got time. It's become another hobby for me. One that I very much enjoy.

4 - I was a nightclub DJ on and off for a long time. Editing music and music videos was a constant part of my life. Leaving the business has left a creative void in my life. This fills it. I get to create, edit videos, entertain, and provide information all in the same shot.

5 - YOU! This community. Your comments, your likes, and the good people I've met through this forum keep me going! I hope another vaping event fits my schedule, because I'd really like to come out and meet a lot of you.

Now I guess I should actually answer the question. Who are my favorite reviewers?

1 - Grimm. A very likable personality. One of the two that inspired me to do my own reviews.
2 - Basil. Another likable personality and the other who inspired me.
3 - Scott (igetcha69). Direct, to the point & good quality production.

Thanks all!!

We see the fanboys everyday. They spend money on a mod, and swear up and down its the greatest thing ever made. I would hope so, because if you knew it was bad, you wouldnt have bought it. Now when your holding a $200 mod in your hands, and you BOMB it: well, truth hurts. Paying for all the mods also means you don't care about kissing ... to the retailers.

Fanboys and people hired to post on the forums will tell us how a mod works and all the great stuff about it. Who can we count on to tell us NOT to buy something because its a fragile POS, or there is lead solder in it, or it leaks, or the door falls off, ect.. ect..

I have thoroughly enjoyed grimm, vapor doctor, and basilray and others- but at times i question the validity of various reviewers because after all-who's going to bite the hands that feeds them? I wouldn't knock a product that i've gotten a lifetime free supply of juice from. Or give a bad review on a mod that costs $200+ that I got for free just for a committment that I'd run a favorable review.

I take most things with a grain of salt. I've yet to see a truly negative review on any mod/juice by some of the more well known reviewers.

Stownz you a rebel!!!! I like your honesty and panache for telling it like it is!!!!!

I'm partial to pbusardo, basilray, and grimmgreen myself. Those three are my vaping trinity of youtube vapers. All different styles but great stuff all around. -Magnus

Why would you give a good review for a mod or lifetime supply of juice you don't like? If you don't like it, you're not going to use it.

I think broccoli is vile. If my grocer offered me a lifetime supply of the stuff in exchange for a good review... Well, it's just not very good incentive.

Phil Busardo: Entertaining, honest, loves to have fun with it and get us all in on it.
Grimm: I still can't stand the term "toot" but he's still descriptive and entertaining
Cozzicon: Straightforward, down to earth kinda guy, and his beginner's vape videos were inspiring to be
Dog & Clay: Just a couple of earthy guys having fun, which gets conveyed well in their vids.
Basilray: Pretty straightforward stuff, good reviewer.
Aerovapor (christopherdav1d): Another down to earth kinda guy, good reviews, and his kids are hilarious. :)
Scott Bonner (Igetcha69): Very detailed reviews, gets into the guts and shows you pretty much everything there is to see.
Steeljan: Just a fun older lady who's got the technical end of things down cold. She'll tell you not only that something doesn't work well, but why, right down to what components are used.

I think that about covers my faves, which is just about everyone in my YouTube subscriptions. :)
