Been vaping for 2 years and reading these forums. Got no real questions, don't like typing, never had an interest in being a forum member but I had to sign up to see pics and to comment rarely on other peoples posts (1st time I wanted to in 2 years). So here I am ready to comment on something and I can't because I may be a spammer.:( In 10 more years I may get 5 posts in unless I make more posts like this one that just go in a quiet lil circle. Can I do that or will I make someone mad?

Hello and welcome to ECF. Personally, I suffer from anxiety and ADHD, so posting on forums has never gone well for me. I used to get kicked out of forums for saying the wrong things, or it would just take forever to get up the gumption to post, and then another forever to edit all my mistakes and make sure I was making sense and actually adding to the discussion instead of rambling. When I joined this forum I had no plans to actually join in, I just wanted access like you. I also pictured myself sitting in a corner once I got through that 5 post gauntlet. But once I started and discovered how welcoming and helpful everyone here is, I felt more confident and eventually found myself posting regularly, entering contests and dolling out advice, and even blogging my experiences with vaping. It still takes me a while to actually write and edit a post, but it's relatively painless now that I've had some practice. I've been here for 7 months and I've got over 500 posts under my belt, much to my surprise. Hopefully you'll have a similarly awesome experience here. :)

Wow, I have the opposite problem, I don't know when to shut up or not post.

Thank you for that. I do many of the same things you said though I enjoy speaking infront of crowds and have been in videos and commercials the written word is not my friend. I do feel far more welcome already then I thought I would.
I did make my 1st reply in the big-boys (or girls) forum and its time to see if it flys.

to posting blaqmail . I was so nervous when I first joined ecf over a year ago. I had never really been a part of a forum. I am so glad I did start posting because I have met some wonderful people through ecf. Sorry for the inconvenience of the 5 posts but I understand the rule. I'm glad you are here and I hope you continue to enjoy ecf even more. :)
